EVERTON HOLD ALLARDYCE TALKS
Everton’s majority shareholder Farhad Moshiri has held discussions with former England Manager Sam Allardyce about the vacant managers position at Goodison Park.
It’s thought Allardyce could be given the job till the end of the season if Moshiri can’t get a so called “big name” manager
We understand Moshiri has also targeted a top European coach and a Premier League manager to replace Ronald Koeman, who was sacked last month
Current interim boss David Unsworth is also being considered, but no decision is imminent, and talks with the various parties are ongoing.

http://www.skysports.com/transfer-centre
There is only 6 points between Brighton in eighth place and West Ham in 18th Place - Fat Sam if he gets the gig will steer Everton out of the mire - Moyes the football he will adopt in trying to keep them up will for the most part be turgid and he could still end up taking them down.

Palace are probably already fecked even this early on.
The managerial list at rangers is getting smaller.

Sam's shakespeare play
Sam Allardyce to sign mega £100k-a-week Everton deal until end of season with Craig Shakespeare as his assistant
Toffees chiefs turn to Big Sam after failing to land first choice Marco Silva and axed Leicester boss will sign too.

I love seeing Pulis fail. I know he's done a good job firefighting with relegation fodder, but eff his style of football forever.

Seems a bonkers appointment to me when they could have got a guy like McIntyre. The decision making at that club has been off for a while.

He always reminds me of a stressed dad on a caravaning holiday. And his teams are utterly brutal to watch

The problem is that the EPL is all about megabucks and owners being shampoo sacred of losing it all through relegation. As long as that prevails, guys like Pulis and their appalling product on the pitch will always get a gig.

DR going with the story that McInnes odds have slashed AGAIN on becoming the next rangers manager (although no approach has been made).

Now placed as low as 1/6 (doesn't say where) to take over from Mad Pedro (along with Tony Docherty).

Murty is second favourite at 5/1.

That's one way of looking at it.

The alternative is that he's a guy who's had a lot of very different jobs and generally been a success. His only big fail was as the manager of Lithuania.

McInnes is odds on with most of the bookies, 1/8 with SKYBET.

He had a shocker at Charleroi. 3 wins in 20 games before being punted in March. They finished rock bottom.

Last job was at a Slovakian club finishing 7th in a 12 team league, albeit not far off 4th and a European place. Looks like 8 out of 12 clubs in that season were docked points and one folded.

Longest he has hung around in a club job is the 18 months in charge of Hearts.

I guess its pretty clear what the Arabs want and need him to do (automatic promotion), which should be achievable in that league with their squad with a semblance of organisation. But if they are looking for stability, then Laszlo's track record doesn't suggest he'll be in for the long haul.

I think providing he doesn't eff up too badly in the coming weeks he will get it too, until the end of the season anyway.

The downside of that for the sevco board is that it confirms that the stupid arseholes are completely potless. And that will not go down well.

Accies at home, then Dundee away before back to back games against Aberdeen. Plenty of potential for dropped points there, I think Murty lost at Dens last season when he was in charge?
