At the lads rugby match today, there appears to be rumours in Evertonland that they may get Big Dodgy Sam as their next manager, the blue side of Merseyside is not too happy.
He was on MOTD and he didn't rule himself out.
He has a habit of popping up on MOTD etc round this time of year just as the EPL's sacking phase starts - it's almost like he does it as a Big Sam advert to floundering chairmen

Looks like Moyes is going to manage West Ham until the end of the season.

Didn’t McClaren apply for the Hearts job this season? Good coach but not a manager.

Bilic sacked
Moyes on a six month contract  . Thought he wouldve had a bit more pride than that.

West Ham United have sacked Slaven Bilic as manager and are set to appoint David Moyes on an initial six-month contract.

The club are in the relegation zone following Saturday’s 4-1 defeat by Liverpool and, barring a breakdown in negotiations, Moyes will take over. West Ham are offering him a deal until the end of the season, at which point Moyes’s future would be reviewed

That was some honking get up Sam had on last night. He looked like a cross between Saville and an Elvis impersonator.
That's how a man who drinks white wine by the pint should look.
Aw no: I'd better start drinking it in half-pints then.

Moyes achievements with Everton are over played once you actually look in to it.

Yes he finished 4th one year, back when there was a top 3, Arsenal, United & Chelsea & 4th spot was won in different seasons by Liverpool, Newcastle & Leeds. They went out of the Champions League & Uefa Cup in the first round the following year.

11 years with Everton, no trophies & 1 final when guys like Martinez, McLeish, Redknapp, Juande Ramos & Schteve McClaren won something.

Yet Ferguson though this guy was fit for the biggest job in British football, if he'd retired in 2003 it'd be like giving Joe Kinerar the Man United gig.

His move to Man Utd didn’t come out of left field though. He was routinely linked with every major job in England and it was considered just a matter of time before he got the chance to move to an elite club like Man Utd. It’s easy to look at his Everton stats years later and say his achievements there were overplayed. But at the time, pretty much everyone was of the view that he’d done a terrific job for over a decade in an era when managers were averaging two seasons at the most before being sacked. He earned a crack at the Utd job. It’s undeniable though that he messed that up and has since made two really poor decisions in going to Sociedad and Sunderland.

McClaren "open to talks"? Once he learns the transfer budget it will be very short talks I would think.
