McInness would be an improvement & he'd close the gap but he's not going to displace us as champions.

With what they've spent compared to the rest (excluding us) there is no justification for them being 30 / 40 points behind us. If you gave McInness the cash that Warburton / Caxinha pissed away, the sheep would be about 15 points closer to us than they were.
Christ, you could put John Greig, Laudrup and McCoist in their prime into that team and they wouldn't displace us.

McInnes: Managers need stable environment to succeed

Derek McInnes believes managers need a stable working environment to deliver positive results and should do due diligence on clubs before accepting jobs.

The Aberdeen boss turned down the opportunity to work at English Championship side Sunderland in the summer, preferring to remain at Aberdeen.

The Black Cats have struggled this season..

So... not going to the circus over Govan way?

Speculative punt on Ally from some info I was just given there. may prove to be a nonsense, but was 8s on BV, and good free bet return, so worth the gamble.

Neil McCann on BBC Online complaining that Hibs should bave had a man sent off - him bumping his gums has become a weekly occurence and I for one love it :chuffed:

They were saying on Soccer Saturday that the two favourites for the job are John O'Shea and Ally McCoist

I knew Sunderland were effed, but that's unreal. A lot of their fans seem convinced they're heading for League One.

Think McCann's coat could be on a shoogly peg. I don't normally like seeing folk lose their jobs, he would be an exception. The dilemma being that he would be back on Sky spouting his crap.

Caretaker boss Graeme Murty has also thrown his hat into the ring after admitting he would follow in the footsteps of Real Madrid legend Zinedine Zidane by stepping up from the youth side to the first team.
