What's your point? Read my explanations on here on why we don't want him then come back and talk to me
If Mourinho took the Liverpool job in the summer of 2004 would you still not want him to manage Everton if you could get him?

Benitez is better than any Everton manager recent history, 30 years atleast would be mad not to consider him.

John Greig was a terrible manager, Alex Ferguson played for Rangers I'd have him at Celtic in a heartbeat at any point in the last 20 years.
Who is the fat waiter?

Good for you mate. The Everton fan base would not countenance either Benitez or Rogers. That's the way it is and that's the way it stays. I support that viewpoint and you don't. Think of Man U and Licerpool, nobody's been transferred between hem since 1965. It's just the way it is.

Rafa Benitez often gets called a “fat Spanish waiter” by rival fans, which I’ve always thought had a hint of casual racism about it.

Read this nonsense from BBC Sportsound the other night...

The transcript is as follows:

Kris Boyd: Dundee United are another club since, when you go back to the Rangers scenario, Dundee United have been in decline since then as well. It’s one of those ones where you need to be careful what you wish for. Stephen Thompson was a big part of that.

Kenny McIntyre (host) – So you’re talking about his stance on the Rangers situation?

Kris Boyd: 100%. I think when you look at his club, that’s backfired on him, there’s no doubt about it.

Tom English [bemused]: How has… what? How has the Rangers situation back fired on them?

Kris Boyd: The way they went about it. I feel it has been in total decline since then. They’ve went down into the Championship, they’ve struggled with Premiership players, they’re still paying the big money.

Tom English: I don’t think their Rangers stance has anything to do with it, Kris.

Michael Stewart: I get where Rangers are not happy with the stance Dundee United took with them, but I don’t see the correlation with that and their position now.

Kris Boyd: What I’m saying is, since Rangers have went down the leagues Dundee United have followed.
Huns will absolutely want to believe that United's current struggles are linked to what happened five years ago. Nothing to do with poor managerial appointments, cost-cutting, selling best players, signing lower league duds and a chairman who wants out. 'That's what they get fur wanting us relegated!'. Anyway, didn't United absolutely horse them in a cup tie a couple of years into the Journey?
Twice pumped them 3-0 in the 3rd round at Tannadice in 2012/13

Then pumped them 3-1 at Ibrox in the Scottish Cup semifinal in 2013/14
Cifti celebrating before putting the ball in the net at 7:55

I've got a picture of Charlton Heston as Moses in my head, condemning a plague of locusts and a shower of shengus on Pharoah's House

When you see it written down it all makes perfect sense.

Had a year or so of Pep’s wisdom, bit of history with the club, and hasn’t any past with Liverpool (which is apparently crucial...).

There’s been a lot worse suggestions.

Ha ha! Nice one lads. Mikel is an Everton favourite but lacks managerial experience. He's not an ex-kopite though, which definitely works in his favour!

Hope Klopp turns it around. Lovely side to watch going forward.

He's a world class keeper, world class centre forward and sitting midfielder with a proper passing range away from winning the league though.

so only missing half a team to have a chance winning the league
