Quoting limited to 3 levels deepIt can't be nice being called murderers for 90 minutes
This is 1 of the main reasons I’ve heard that everything changed. Mind you I’ve heard all sorts of tales re Heysel and it not all being Liverpool fans that went abroad but cant comment on that. My impression of the Derby down here that it’s quite venomous sometimes, there can be a lot of trouble in town afterwards but that could be because of the early kick off time and loads of alcohol. The rivalry in work between guys is not as bad as us n the Huns tho, religion doesn’t come into it, although the Reds love taunting the bitter blues. Saying all that Liverpool supporters save most of their vitriol for Manchester United....that is quite naughty and working/socialising in Manchester I can certainly say the Manc feel the same way.
There's plenty of good natured banter around, but Liverpool Town Centre is full of loons any night, not just after match night. A lad got stabbed to death last Saturday. The reds taunt us as they're lovely carefree scamps. Us blues know them better but that's not for this forum. Wonder who they'll be replacing Klippetty with once he's been sussed out? I agree, i think Klopp is not a particularly great manager. Great going forward, total Clusterfeck at the back. Knowing that he needed a decent CH at the end of last season and still never got one after the VVD fiasco is inexcusable, that and the LB disaster area and spunking 35m on a player he didnt need.
If he takes another heavy defeat then i think he will be gone. Rock and Roll wont save him.

The guy is entitled not to be so keen on Rodgers if that's how he feels. We had some on here who for some reason didn't like MON and then a lot more who didn't like Strachan.
Is saying the lad with the teeth any worse than some of the nicknames or given to some of our players over the years?
Exactly. Some people need to get a grip with the sycophancy surrounding Rodgers atm. Half expecting some posters to start offering him a gammy
If Brendan whips it out, who am I to refuse? Unbeaten in 60 ffs, have a bit of respect.
The worst thing is.... Going by some recent posts, im not sure if thats a joke

Dundee Utd have sacked McKinnon.
They are a real mess of a club. That division is hard for 'bigger' clubs to get out of these days.

Ex-Celtic chief scout and (now former) Director of Football at Huddersfield. They just shut their academy as well and have very little below their first team. It probably makes sense.

Read this nonsense from BBC Sportsound the other night...
The transcript is as follows:
Kris Boyd: Dundee United are another club since, when you go back to the Rangers scenario, Dundee United have been in decline since then as well. It’s one of those ones where you need to be careful what you wish for. Stephen Thompson was a big part of that.
Kenny McIntyre (host) – So you’re talking about his stance on the Rangers situation?
Kris Boyd: 100%. I think when you look at his club, that’s backfired on him, there’s no doubt about it.
Tom English [bemused]: How has… what? How has the Rangers situation back fired on them?
Kris Boyd: The way they went about it. I feel it has been in total decline since then. They’ve went down into the Championship, they’ve struggled with Premiership players, they’re still paying the big money.
Tom English: I don’t think their Rangers stance has anything to do with it, Kris.
Michael Stewart: I get where Rangers are not happy with the stance Dundee United took with them, but I don’t see the correlation with that and their position now.
Kris Boyd: What I’m saying is, since Rangers have went down the leagues Dundee United have followed.

Lads, I won't add too much to the debate about the Everton manager's post as I have suffered the various duds we have been presented with in my time, following on from Harry Catterick. This is not the forum to pontificate about likely successors to Koeman but I will say that if you think that we are interested in the Fat Spanish Waiter or your mate with the teeth you are wrong. I acknowledge that Rodgers is doing a fine job at Celtic, but it still hurts that my other club (family, political reasons) saw fit to appoint him. Everton FC will not appoint either of those two, just like you would not really consider John Greig ffor a post at Paradise. Or would you?
The fat waiter has won more European trophies in 12 years than Everton have in their history & has won as many league titles as a manager than Everton have in 50 years.
What's your point? Read my explanations on here on why we don't want him then come back and talk to me If Mourinho took the Liverpool job in the summer of 2004 would you still not want him to manage Everton if you could get him?
Benitez is better than any Everton manager recent history, 30 years atleast would be mad not to consider him.
John Greig was a terrible manager, Alex Ferguson played for Rangers I'd have him at Celtic in a heartbeat at any point in the last 20 years.

Huns will absolutely want to believe that United's current struggles are linked to what happened five years ago. Nothing to do with poor managerial appointments, cost-cutting, selling best players, signing lower league duds and a chairman who wants out. 'That's what they get fur wanting us relegated!'. Anyway, didn't United absolutely horse them in a cup tie a couple of years into the Journey?

Then pumped them 3-1 at Ibrox in the Scottish Cup semifinal in 2013/14
