I know you all pure love my LFC takes so here goes...

Klopp has too much faith in lads like Lovren and Mignolet who only turn up the minority of the time. He was a bit too loyal in his early BVB days; think this half-season might be the turning point for a lot of those Liverpool players. Also, if the club hadn't messed around Southampton trying to van Dijk for less than he was worth, he'd probably be a Liverpool player. Wouldn't solve all the problems, but would certainly help. Klopp showed in the past he knows how to set up a good defence at Dortmund, and Liverpool have had 3-4 spells under him where the defending has been generally excellent. Mad goals are always part of the deal when you play the way he wants to, but guys like Lovren make those howlers in any system....he's not a bad player, but his concentration levels mixed in with what appears to be both complete overconfidence and chronic underconfidence at times makes him tough to want in the team.

This season, though, it's been very deficient. Hope it changes soon, though I expect he'll get at least one more season after this even if it continues in such an irritating fashion - the Yanks are doted on him. A great manager and a wonderful man but a little too loyal to guys who he never signed. BVB gave him the time to weed them out, just need to hope he does the same. Lovren, Moreno and Mignolet - three of the worst offenders for Lpool most of the time - are all decent backups, but never first picks. Hope Fenway sort it out between now and summer because most of his signings have been excellent.

Needs to weed out the ones who can't take the pressure, or reduce them to being squad players. While I'll never turn on Klopp just through having seen him at Dortmund since the start and knowing how good he is, I'm surprised that Mignolet, Henderson (to an extent) and Lovren are still first picks. That loyalty is part of his positive demeanor, though, so double-edged sword.

Spurs are class by the way; they are where Liverpool looked around this time last season before they fell away. Brilliant to watch, fair play to them. Pochettino is up there with the best, too.
His signings have been poor overall. Mane and that's it. Salah needs a full season before he can be judged.
Karius is a good keeper, broke his wrist before the season started after a great pre-season. Really hampered his progress but never the diddy made out to be.
Matip was excellent at first but like many good defenders is being dragged down by the clod next to him. Klopp' major mistake is keeping so much faith in pish like Lovren and Mignolet.
Mane has been stellar, Salah had one of the most exciting starts I can remember seeing. Keita will be outstanding for Liverpool, too. Why does Salah need a full season before he can judged? He's hardly had a fluke start or has a reputation for being a diddy, does he? He's effing quality - anyone with a pair of eyes can see his talent. It's abundant.
Wijnaldum has been very strong since he came in - quietly a very effective player.
Guys like Robertson and Klavan play as they are - decent enough back-ups but will struggle if given too many games. Most clubs have players like this.
Chamberlain an odd one but looked decent the last 2-3 games.
Solanke has excellent potential, will take Sturridge - who looks done - out of the team long-term.

Wouldn't say that's 'poor' to be honest. Add in van Dijk and Keita and the signings would be very good indeed. Agree with Danny and co. that a more reliable finisher and a screen for the defence would make a major difference. Henderson and Can have both tried it suit a more typical CM role - something he needs to address in the medium-term.

HAHAHA Koeman. 6m a year, was it? Absolute throbber and a very mediocre manager. Cheerio ya fud.

Rafa to The Toffees? It wouldn't surprise me as he's looking for an exit from Newcastle Utd and has a home on The Wirrall.

Sure, but Newcastle by all accounts are about to be flush with cash after this takeover, could be worth his while to hang fire.

Or he knows the new owners could take over and want their own man in the job.

Agreed. He’s in a stronger position than most managers whose clubs are about to get a new owner. He’s also allegedly held talks with the woman heading up the consortium currently carrying out due diligence on the club so he seems to be heavily involved in the whole process.

Sell Rangers branded clogs.
A windmill outside Ibrox. Charge kids £2 to be tied to the rotors.
Turn Edmiston House into a brothel, with red and blue lights. Good cash for the club.

Rafa spent his time at Liverpool making snide comments about Everton, enraging their fanbase and delighting his own. There's no way in hell Everton would hire him now. Wouldn't be surprised if David Unsworth got the gig, been very successful at u23 level. Or someone like Sean Dyche.

Agreed. Rafa is still very popular with the Reds' fans. Dyche could be a good shout.

Silva and Wagner may be two that Everton would look at.

You’ll find a bookies that will give odds on the pope being the next hun Manager, it doesn’t add any credibility.

I’m sure Koeman will be desperate to take a 500% pay cut.
