They'd be mad not to take a run at him. In terms of teams with upside, Everton are a FAR better bet than Leicester as that effin numpty Hamann had suggested.

20/1. The bookies have no clue with this one though, evidenced by the fact the favourite is David Unsworth and the second favourite is Davie Moyes!

I'm not suggesting for one minute that he would, he will be linked and rightly so.

Not the first time we've seen Koeman fall apart like this, he has qualities as a Coach but when it goes bad it does so quite dramatically.

Hope they take Moyes back. Keeps him away from the Scotland job.

EDIT: And keeps Everton away from BR, although he'd have to be off his chump to go there.

Wouldn't be surprised to see Everton go for Eddie Howe.

If this happened last season, I’d agree. But other managers of smaller EPL clubs like Marco Silva, David Wagner and Sean Dyche are currently outperforming him. I think they’ll go for Rafa Benitez, whose family I believe still lived on Merseyside long after he’d left Liverpool. Whether Rafa would see it as an act of betrayal given his Liverpool connections would be interesting to see.

Can't imagine the Everton fans would want Brendan, who - rightly or wrongly - is still seen by many in England as the guy who failed at Liverpool. And long may that be the case.

They should try and get Tuchel even if it does mean a ripping up of the squad.

There is no pace in the side.

Of course BR will be linked with the Everton managerial vacancy. But he won't go to Everton.

I suspect when BR does leave Celtic, he'll want to expand his horizons and he'll look to La Liga or the Bundesliga.

Brendan Rodgers here for 10 in a row

Wasn't long ago Koeman was being linked with the Barca job because his Everton side managed to beat some of the utter pish that inhabits the lower half of that league.

Rodgers did fail miserably at Liverpool, and no-one down south should ever forget that. He was awful. He should never be offered another job down there. Ever.

He’s also a legend at Barcelona and his overall managerial career is probably on a par (or maybe even slightly better) than the guy from Bilbao who got the job. So the speculation wasn’t that far fetched.

True

And he used his powers of telekinesis to knock Steven Gerrard on his arse.
