Michael O'Neill done for drink driving at Edinburgh Sheriff court. will probably get sacked.
He could be pictured walking away from a murder scene with the knife in his hands & Northern Ireland wouldn't sack him.
fined £1,300 and banned him from driving for 16 months.

Drink driving in the world of football does not seem to be a sackable offence.

Aye, personal misdemeanours are only sackable offences when the club (or country) want rid anyway. No way O'Neill gets punted for this.

Leicester, who have endured a nightmare fixture schedule so far with games against Man Utd, Chelsea, Arsenal and Liverpool, are one win away from mid-table, which would be a very respectable position for a club with their resources. This decision smacks of the owners not wanting Shakespeare in the first place. They obviously felt obligated to offer him the job after his excellent caretaker spell and have jumped at the opportunity to bring in a ‘big name’ at the first hint of a dip in form.

Three times the limit! Oh dear. I doubt he'll be sacked though.
Three times the limit?

More rumour mongers out to smear O'Neill, and prevent him getting a top job.

I suppose he technically wasn't three times the limit but can't really see him suing for defamation ;)

Just read that LC's record this season was better than anyone outwith the "big 6". If true, wtf do their board expect? That would be the first question I'd be asking at the interview.
Where the eff did you read that? The letters page of the Viz?
:lmao:

No chance a convicted nonce will be given a chance fans would go mental.

Although the circumstances are different, Ched Evans was reemployed as a footballer after being convicted of rape.

That conviction has since been quashed has it not though?

Graham Rix is probably the best comparison. He worked for plenty of clubs after his release from prison. Not as a player right enough.

Dundee Utd are currently 4th in the table with a negative goal difference. For a team that started the season as favourites for the title, that doesn’t sound too promising.
