Brendan Rodgers is 20-1 with some bookies for the Leicester job.. Just as well he took Celtic to the Champions League group stage.

Imagine the meltdown on here if he took the job.

How the wheels would have turned since 2000...
Aye, 'would' being the operative word there. Football's probably effed, but not that much, yet.

Just seen the Paddy Power odds for the Leicester job. Mancini is favourite at 7/1. Weirdly Mark Warburton is 33/1 whilst Neil Lennon is 35/1. You'd think the odds on someone like Lennon, who is a Leicester club legend as well as a man with a solid track record, would be better than a noted failure.
Rightly or not, Lennon didn't get a look-in at the Leicester job when Pearson was sacked, and that was before the silly decision to take the Bolton job; he certainty won't be considered now. No one in the EPL will care or even take notice of how well he does with Hibs.
I'm not suggesting Lennon should get it. I'm just questioning the fact Paddy Power seem to think there's more chance of a complete failure like Warburton getting the job than someone like Lennon who at least has a link to the club.
Presumably because Warburton is currently managing in England - at a club bigger, certainly in terms of history, than both Hibs and Leicester - and has a better, albeit not exactly glittering, track record in the country than Lennon does. Despite what people think of him up here, Warburton still seems to be well regarded by many down there.

The odds for both suggest that nobody thinks either has a chance of the job.

Glad Shakespeare's been binned.

Lived up to his namesakes ending of Julius Caesar, when he stabbed Ranieri in the back.

Why would you leave one of the biggest and best clubs in the world to manage a club that isn't even the biggest in the East Midlands?

Leicester are Ultra_F*cked. Enjoy the Championship.

I see some Leicester fans want Ancelotti. Lets see...Milan,Chelsea, PSG,Real Madrid,Bayern and then Leicester!!
Maybe his reputation has suffered a bit in Germany but surely not as much as that.

Rafa Benítez went from Liverpool, Inter, Chelsea, Napoli, Real Madrid to relegation battling Newcastle.

If it's right, then it'll happen.

Nice little risk-free earner for the bookies - there will be plenty of mug money lining up for that list, until one of the usual suspects comes in to to slog their way back to Championship obscurity before pissing the parachute payments up the wall

More chance of Leicester winning the EPL for a second time than there is of Rodgers taking such a backwards step. I don’t doubt that Rodgers fancies another crack at English football one day - but he’ll be eyeing up a top six job.

I very much doubt he’d want to be in a promotion battle next season.

We'll probably end up with Nigel Pearson back. He's currently doing Ok at OH Leuven, Leicester's sibling club in Belgium.

It could be worse - if a Scottish manager got the gig our relegation would be guaranteed.

There were rumours about Conte walking and BR being his replacement. That's the sort of job he'll take after we win 10 IAR.
