Laughable appointment on so many levels.

1) His managerial record does not justify him being anywhere near the job

2) they're basically conceding, despite all the pish, that the performance director job is a second rate role that you can do part-time

3) he's a racist

Classic stuff from the morons in charge of our game.

Big Sam for this bear. Now that I've found out both his parents were from Scotland I'm even more aboard the Sam tram than ever :drive:
Keep in mind that this is the same man in charge of Project Brave- Scotland's footballing future, supposedly...
Hopefully there's not too many Asian Scots coming through our youth ranks.

What a effing disgrace.

Seems like many ex-managerial muppets are out in force currently with 'rent a comment' to the MSM about getting the Scotland job.

If we had professional people running the game I wouldn't care, but I think the amateurs at the SFA will eventually go for a rent a muppet.

Ronny Deila, the former Celtic-manager has found a new way to motivate his players. Before the game vs Brann he was NUDE at the TeamMeeting

got them their first win in a while so obviously worked

Just saw this news, on holiday.

Incredulous that we would have a person happy to discriminate against others as manager.

Surely with the new Euros Scotland have an opportunity to take a risk and at least attempt to build and identity on the park.
Better going foreign than the same old lump it and try hard mob. Rodgers has now proved that through good coaching players can get measurably better

Graeme Murty.

The mans a Legned. The size of the Hampden technical area will give him as much space as an Olympic gymnastics floor would to keep us entertained while being humbled by Moldova.

Looks like Steve Clarke is going to the Ayrshire Huns. Supposedly watching them this weekend according to the BBC. His stock has taken a tumble.

Mackay is only holding it for one pointless friendly, is he not? Given how much the SFA have waffled on about this Project Brave thing, the likelihood of him getting the job permanently is remote. It's more likely to be a "ground breaking" decision of whatever out of work old Scottish guy they can find. i.e Moyes the charisma black hole.

Plenty on here would have gladly taken Moyes at Celtic just 15 months ago. He made a horrendous blunder going to Sunderland but anyone who thinks he doesn't deserve to be a contender for the national job is at it. Three time manager of the year in England. He's had a miserable time of things recently but his CV remains infinitely more impressive than most of the names being mentioned.

If countries like Italy, Germany and France can appoint young managers then I don't see why we can't.
It seems all Scotland has to choose from is a list of washed up, had their time guys ready for the scrap heap.
By the way, I don't have the answer.

We've just given interim responsibilities to racist. We scrape the bottom of the barrel.

In Soviet Russia, car drive you.

It'll be Moysey, if O'Neill doesn't fancy it.
