Quoting limited to 3 levels deep
I’d imagine Scotland could probably pay him a bit more than he’s currently on and sometimes, realistically, that’s all it takes.
He knows the time to leave Northern Ireland is now when he is on a high.Scotland is a step up and he lives in Scotland so I think it would suit him.It would certainly suit us.
As much as I'm loathed to give any credit to the north, I can't see how the Scotland Job is a step up considering he's a very good chance of leading the 6 counties to back to back Championships while Scotland haven't qualified or one since the previous century.

O'Neill will likely be headed to a lower EPL or upper echelon championship team. He's done his international penance.

Scotland will likely end up with Malky Mackay or McCoist

I think it will be Alex Ferguson on a two year deal. The time just seems right.

Strachan did better than his predecessors in getting Scotland to play good passing football. But his own stubbornness was his on-doing in the last game and its time for a change. At 1-0 up he could have brought in another midfielder to close the game out. Leaving Forrest and McGregor on the bench in favor of Championship players was just terrible tactics. Think Scotland are far better than many teams that qualified. Leaving Leigh Griffiths out at the start of the campaign was ridiculous, when he's playing Championship players that can't even get a game.

Hope we get a progressive coach that plays good football and gets the team to play to there potential.

Hadn't thought of him before but yeah, Allardyce might be the right man, players would get a lift playing for him I think, too. He's even Scottish, sort of.

So he is.

That maybe makes it that wee bit more possible as well.

Lennon would do a great job, particularly with the Scottish based players (picking them more for a start, unlike English born or raised rejects from the championship or relegation fodder from the EPL) but he'd never go for it, nor would the SFA go near him.

Never ones to miss out on free publicity, Paddy Power has suspended betting on Moyes, Mackay is 4/1, Lambert and McInnes at 8/1. Steven Presley is 40/1 :ph43r:

I think Lambert would be a good appointment. He's made a couple of poor decisions in the jobs he's taken but I think he's a decent manager.

Get Billy Davies in there.

His trusty sidekick Dalziel as assistant.

And various members of his family onto the SFA payroll.

Big Sam would do a great job a better manager than he gets credit for but I think the SFA will play it safe and give it to Moyes or Lambert

ask about any Wolves supporter, and he will tell you that Lambert did close to nothing but poor decisions, playing technical bad players ahead of some really good footballers, just because they were British, playing players way out of position because they had "dig"

most likely that qualifies him for the job in the minds of the Nevco members of SFA, but he really shouldn't get it

Alex McLeish on Radio Scotland - absolutely desperate for the job.....indeed any job, given the way he pops up when any vacancy arises
Heard that it was utterly cringeworthy. "I watch fitbaw in England". :ffs:
