Alex McLeish on Radio Scotland - absolutely desperate for the job.....indeed any job, given the way he pops up when any vacancy arises

I read the alternative Leigh Griffiths blog for the first time last week on his thread, does no one else think Jocky Scott has been out of the game too long.

McInnnes has a wee pop about Shinnie not being picked which is fair enough given some of the keech Strachan has picked in his time - He then says Shinnie is the best back in the country!!!!

Right you are Derek.
I'm stunned that he doesn't play the best full back in the country and full back in his own team.

Tit.

I'd go for a Ranieri type. Someone who is tactically aware.
He was a resounding success with Greece.
What's your point caller?

McLeish on the BBC basically saying I'll wait for them to call, I don't like to be going begging for an interview, before basically begging for an interview… " I watch Premier League games, I still know about football… pick me please, please!"

Embarrassing. Massive backward step if they pick him, which they almost certainly will.

Senseless in football terms. It is about the money,he would still be in the job if they had to pay him off and it's the lack of revenue from getting to finals that is annoying them. The SFA needs sacked.

If Northern Ireland don't make it out of the playoff I'd go for Michael O'Neill.
Michael O’Neill would be my choice too in those circumstances.

Mackay 5/2
Moyes 11/4
Lambert 6/1
Sam 7/1
Add McLeish to that list and look for a bin.

Might need Francis Galton to sort the mess Strachan has left.
Hardly a mess.
