The right decision.

Reckon they might ask McInnes.

Problem is though the other clowns still working for our National sides at younger levels.....need a complete clear out including Malky McKay

Get someone in who actually KNOWS how to coach young talent to get the best from them...not someone who talks a good game, or is pals with the media, blazers etc

I've said it many times get 6-10 French / German / Spanish coaches and let them build our game from the bottom up,

I like following the national team and want Scotland to qualify. I don't really watch Ireland. Fair play to folk that do.
Regardless if you're a fan or not, who should Scotland go after?

The Generic choices are Moyes, Lambo and Mackay. Seems weird that Mackay got a performance director job and wouldn't get an interview. Mad racist, the SFA are probably that stupid they will attempt to sweep it under the rug.

To me the SFA are completely incompetent. Need a complete overhaul of the system and that would involve bringing in not just a foreign coach, but credible foreign brains up and down the system. Real investment in Coaching and development.
It will never happen, they'll have Mackay or Moyes in within a month or so

Glad his gone.

I expect Moyes or Mackay though. The SFA have no ambition

Collins would be an interesting one. Relatively young and would more likely play home-based players instead of being blinded by second-string english based carthorses.

The SFA are incapable of getting any decisions right.

Rest assured, we won't get the best man for the job.

1. Bring in an Allardyce-type who'll focus purely on the team, while behind the scenes the organisation gets the game sorted.
2. Bring in a Wenger-type who'll rebuild the whole organisation.
3. Bring in Moyes or Lambert, who'll carry on in the WGS tradition.
4. Bring in Malky Mackay.

Hmmmm...

McIness to Scotland. Caixinha out the door. McIness to huns with scant mention of compensation.

Realistically, I'd hope they go for Stevie Clarke.

Heimir Hallgrímsson. Let him do the World Cup but offer him the job to take over afterwards.

Offer him the job as well and get others from Icelandic football to do a real analysis and solutions needed for the game to get better in Scotland.

Moyes and Lambert are cheap and desperate, and Mackay is cheap, desperate and already at the SFA.

We could - and will - do a lot worse than Fat Sam, I'm afraid.
