I'd not be surprised if McIntyre is more interested in Falkirk than he is in Kilmarnock.

Falkirk at least are somewhat upwardly mobile with a decent record for producing good young players. The Kilmarnock job is just permanent fire-fighting.

Everton’s majority shareholder Farhad Moshiri: Ronald Koeman has my total support.

Gone by the end of the week, then.

Another hun bites the dust. Excellent.
From what I hear the place was a bit of a shambles and the players where less than impressed.

The changing room is also a cesspit of deepest darkest ayrshire bigotry but I'm sure that isn't a surprise
Pish.

If Ancellotti is so hopeless how come he has won so many things at the top of the game.
Is it 4 league titles in 20 years?

Smashing in cup competitions, mind.

Not saying he’s hopeless at all, but it’s not surprising that Pep’s obsessive ultra-demanding coaching style followed by Ancelotti’s hands off approach has thrown the Bayern players somewhat.

He has managed in some highly competitive leagues though,Italy,Spain and England especially. Good amount of personal managerial honors also. I accept your point about succeeding Guardiola.

Edit: 17 trophies in 18 years. 14 individual awards.

I agree, I think it's guardiola's fault too.

The club have to take some responsibility for that. It's like they didn't want someone as intense as Guardiola but went too far in the other direction with Ancelotti.

Right guy @ the wrong time.

From Kicker

Quote:

Robben, Neuer and Boateng as well as Lahm and Alonso last season complained to the Bayern board about Carlo's training methods. They felt he didn't improve the team or the players. Robben specifically said his son received better training with his youth team than Bayern did with Ancelotti. When the players organized individual training sessions on their own, Ancelotti forbade them. Players then moved to a different location for those training sessions.

His fitness coach was smoking in the locker room and didn't do sufficient warm-up training (according to Kicker: Sometimes only 3 minutes).

Ahead of the game against PSG, for the first time (!!) during his tenure in Munich, video analysis were made, but their results didn't enter the preparation for the game.

There was no in-game coaching. All Ancelotti told them during the draw against Wolfsburg at HT was "you have to watch out better".

Kimmich, Coman and Boateng were thinking about leaving the club.

The team atmosphere was toxic because Ancelotti seemed to favour the Spanish players without an apparent reason.

Reading that, I wish he'd hung around until the double-header.

Wouldn't be too upset if they were relegated; a sizeable chunk of their support are Sevconians without the bus fare.

Paul Hartley looks to have been given the Falkirk job. Kilmarnock look to be choosing between Jim McIntyre and Mixu Paatelainen.

Luis Enrique rumoured to be taking the Bayern job.

Hartley will do well there. Also expect some of our youngsters to be farmed out there for some experience.
Still Think he could do better than Falkirk though.

He probably can do better than Falkirk, but it looks like he prefers to stay in Scotland and the only job going right now that's bigger than the Falkirk one is Kilmarnock. I reckon I'd pick Falkirk over them too :boik:

Dundee were abject latterly under Hartley. It appears over his time there he grew more conservative and suffered from plenty of really poor, questionable signings.

He has had success doing what Falkirk need him to do though: get out of that division. Unlikely to be this season right enough.

Kilmarnock are absolutely burst but whoever they choose two things are likely. They'll still be utterly pish, but I can still see them overhauling at least one other team eventually over 38 games to scrape a play off place at worst and not outright relegation. As happens basically every year.

Wonder if Ancelotti's pish is what made Alonso and Lahm retire so suddenly

they could easily play for another couple of years each, Lahm especially
