Ancelotti punted
He's a decent guy and won't be out of work long. He has won the Champions League three times as well as league titles in Italy, Spain, England and Germany.
I always look his domestic titles won and find it disappointing. Should of won more.

He never won La Liga.

Bayern will have sounded someone out already, given their start to the season and line up changes. They'll end going for Klopp...maybe not this season but eventually.

It's basically Nagelsmann's job at the end of the season by all accounts.

What'll be interesting is what they do in the interim. They'll probably go internal and hope it works out well enough so they can string it out. It'll be hard for them to get someone in temporarily from outside with Hoeness and Rummenigge publicly slating the coach whenever anything happens they don't like.

Nagelsmann wants the job, Bayern wants Nagelsmann, just a matter of compensation to Hoffenheim - I would have gone for Laurent Blanc if I was Bayern boss, I think that it is to early for Nagelsmann to take the job, but time will tell how he will do

But then you hear from players who don't want things to be too complicated.

We had both ends of the spectrum and success with both with MON and Brendan.

Nagelsmann could do a lot worse than get another couple of years under his belt at Hoffenheim.

A ridiculously big job at this stage in his career.

If Bayern can hold on they might snap up a certain Pedro Caixinha. Their Neo brothers over here swear that he's the real deal.

True but I feel @ Bayern the players needs to have demands made against them.

I don't think Guardiola for example would be anymore demanding, detailed and meticulous in his training regime @ City than he would @ Bayern even though one could argue on a week to week basis he is challenged more from the opposition @ Man City.

Bayern went from a Manager in Guardiola who demands so much from his players to Ancelotti who doesn't. Initially that may seem fine and some players may be relieved to get a change and a 'break' however standards can drop like that and even though it wouldn't be by much its the small percentages which can make the difference.

One thing I remember reading when Guardiola's times was appraised at Bayern was even if you forget the trophies and just ask have the players improved under his coaching and the answer to that was unequivocally yes.
