A consortium of wealthy Sunderland fans - three men who are co-owners of a film and television production company - are looking to rival a German takeover bid for the club...and they want to appoint Tony Adams as manager
Is Granada the TV company ?

Trying to determine if Derek McInnes is a raging hun, a pure hun, a wee hun, or 'no that much of a hun, really'

Any inside info would be greatly appreciated. No PMs. Answers on a postcard only.
It's often difficult to tell what level of 'hun' someone is. Definitely a hun though.

He had a 'rangers room' at his old house in Glasgow. This was about 10 year after he stopped playing for them.

This puts him into the 'rotten with it' hun category.
He's a hun. He's a hun pure and simple.

Any thoughts to the contrary is just delusion.

The story behind Ronnys appointment
That was an awesome read. We pretty much forced Stromsgodset into dealing with us from the sounds out it, literally stole their manager and were set to announce him.

I'm still glad Keane told us to bolt regardless of what happened with Ronny.

Part 2 is up at 10

Yup, me too. Ronny is a good guy, shame it didn't work out. I think Keane would've been complete meltdown.

Ranieri to Nantes. Ligue 1 agree to forget their 65 year old age cap for a manager.
What's the reasoning behind the cap?

Promotion of young coaches?
There are age caps in a lot of official and business positions in France, why not in football ?
One of the problems French club football was the poor quality of managers, who were very organised to block younger and foreign coaches from getting jobs in Ligue 1. The age cap was introduced to force them leave at some point.

You're probably right. I mean, whoever heard of teams trying harder against some teams than others, or vice versa. Could never happen.

I've heard of teams trying harder against some than others. But deliberately playing badly against others? I can't see it.
So where does that leave those clubs, players, managers, directors and referees who've been convicted of match-fixing? And how many have escaped a conviction purely because it's so difficult to nail them to the floor with watertight proof?

Bit of a gamble from Palace's point of view. He's on a bit of a slide. Cocks this up and he'll be managing in Jaboof next year.
