Rumours kicking about Conte is ready to walk away from Chelsea. Fell out with Abramovic apparently
Didn't Conte text him saying he didn't see him featuring in his plans for next season? Will probably end up in China, slumming it on 350 grand a week :nono: Edit read the name wrong, thought you said Costa :ffs:

The new investor of Aberdeen is suppose to be giving the hun some money to spend. Hmmmm
He has his eye on that hun job big time. If that doesn't come along AND with a modicum of investment this Summer, he'll get his English move anyway and more than likely to a better run club than Sunderland.

McInnes wouldn't touch Sevco with a barge pole in current circumstances.

Good to see a manager not just after the wages.

Great for Scottish football he will be there to keep the unwashed in their place.

Expect him to get a decent wedge to spend too this summer.

McInnes will get totally found out in that league.
Found out by whom? The only people who can't see through him are the SMSM and the crabbit bearded bawbag himself
Nonsense. He's been a very good manager for Aberdeen. Just ask their fans.

Fecking hell, those Sunderland fans are in absolute meltdown. Being rejected by an SPFL manager is a really bitter pill to swallow, it seems.

Bain and Cardigan are to blame for it all too.

Listening to Radio 5 there and they can't seem to contemplate that a manager in Scotland would turn down the English championship and £1:5 million a year in wages so the only plausible explanation is that he's in line for the Southampton job.

Just spoke to someone that knows McInnes.

Sunderland offer was £18k a week before bonus, hes on £6k at Aberdeen.

His wife point blank refuses to move from where they live. He travels up and down to Aberdeen several times a week.

Hes made the right decision not going down there regardless of the money

Fairly play to McInnes. It's rare for football people not to make decisions based purely on money.

Fair play to him if it's true . (Ex ) Hun or not. More money , higher profile , bigger club , more transfer money, more competitive league, and he knocks it back to stay in Scotland . Whatever your think of the guy professionally , personally or both, that's got to be admired . Any kick in the baws to an English club is a good thing in my eyes. So grudgingly " well done ya beardy fud

Same thoughts here; they came 2nd by 9 points and 27+ better goal difference, but McInness always lies down to Sevco :cuckoo:

I'm pleased for the Scottish game even though it means his dour face will continue to be in the forefront. In due time we'll see if the conspiracy theorists on here are right.

Too old for hamlet, too young for Lear

I think he's a mug for even speaking to them unless he wanted it to be known he's open to offers. Everybody knows Sunderland are an absolute trainwreck of a club - akin to Lennon taking the Bolton gig, albeit he was out of work at the time.

Just before the Dawn

maybe we should be grateful Moyes didn't have the same moral fibre last summer. :ph43r:

McInnes, for all I can't stand the wee hun bastard, has made a very good decision in not going there. If Aberdeen Board can back him with some decent cash, and get their act together re their new Stadium, then they could be a very attractive proposition in the next few years. I did note the official statement said "pleased" and not "delighted".
Devil in the detail?
