Lambert sacked. Not a surprise really as he refused to go along with the owners picking players and he wouldn't have last say.
My best mate is a season ticket holder there and his style of football has apparently been abysmal.
Lambert have been putting their best players on the bench or out of the squad with the reason that they weren't "Brittish" and filled the starting with players playing out of position as they were "used to the Inglish game"

New 2 year deal for Wenger
Think they'll kick on and mount a serious title challenge after their FA Cup win.

if that's a question then no

if that's a statement then no evidence of being able to sustain challenge nor acquire what's needed to do so

 I would like to say that's a surprise but it really isn't. It's going to cost serious rumblings at the Emirates unless there's a big change in the way he goes about things.

With his rivals spending big he needs to do the same to have any chance of getting the fans back onside. Good luck Arsene yer going to need it.

Clearly thinks he is Arsenal. Any self respecting manager would have left on a relative high after Saturday but not good old Arsene

Wenger should have left. Arsenal could do with a fresh face as it's gone a bit stale there. But in a league were finishing 4th is celebrated like winning the league i'm not surprised.

Surely though the decision must be their boards or Kroenke or whatever his name is.

Whether Wenger thinks he's Arsenal or not he can't award himself a 2 year deal.

He should have binned it after the weekend though you're right.

The board thinks the sun shines oot his arse and they left up to him to decide if he wanted to stay or not.

Should have said lets make it look like you resigned as it's time for a change but nope :ffs:

It was a joke.

It's the same every year for Arsenal. 'This year'll be different, just you watch!' It never is, and never will be.

Chelsea, Man United, Liverpool, Man City and Spurs will all kick on as they're not handicapped with no CL to offer and Arsenal will do their usual and be left even further behind.

Wenger should've been taken out the back and put down the year Leicester won the PL. Everything was set up perfectly for him, and he still effed it. Arsenal will never win the League nor the Champions League as long as he's there.

I think Arsenal are terrified of doing a Man U after Ferguson.

I agree this is the exact moment to step down. Not in CL etc. Nothing any more for a new manager to live up to. ..apart from a good FA Cup record.
