Difficult to see where Moyes goes from here. Don't think a Premier League club would look at him. Championship maybe.
Yes. All managers get sacked and many recover from it. Thanks three failures in a row is a different matter.
Still think he can do a job. At United he got hung out to dry. Going to Spain was a strange choice and taking the Sunderland job was flat out bonkers.

I think deep down he was preparing for our job only for it to be snatched away at the last moment. Then he had the choice of managing Sunderland or spending another year in the wilderness.

He has his faults and mistakes have cost him but he's not as bad a manager as his last three jobs suggest. Poor career choices have been the crux of his problems.

Crap then. Crap now. Crap forever.

The guy was a f*****g dinosaur who killed football at every club he managed. He's a shoe-in for Scotland once Strachan (another dinosaur) gets the bullet after England take 3+ off Scotland.

Maybe somebody will appear on here and give us regular and accurate updates on where Moyes is going.

He'll get the St Johnstone gig when Tommy Wright goes to the Huns midway through next season.

Funnily enough Moyes is probably an upgraded identikit Scotland manager going back to the days of Roxburgh, safety first.

I think since then Vogts was possibly the only manager who didn`t fit the mould, inherited an aged squad, tried out umpteen players and he was lampooned to shampoo.

I championed the bold Dave as I thought another year of wishy washy ideas from some philosopher would kill me, and expectations were he was the best we could get from a longish list of underacheivers. By feck we got the opposite, a man who loves to overacheive in everything he does.

I wonder if there's an argument for Moyes to have left Everton sooner?

If you look at his choices...you can't really knock back Man Utd after spending 11 years at Everton.

After that, he was brave to go to Spain and braver still to take over Real Sociedad.

Going to Sunderland, well that's a clustereff.

Each club was on a downward trajectory well before Moyes arrived.

Still reckon he's a bit of dinosaur. The games changed.

Had he answered his phone instead of hitching his skirt to the Sunderland Chairman, we might have seen a very different Celtic. We had both Rodgers and Moyes in talks, but it would be fair to say Brendan wanted it more. Moyes left at least one call from PL unanswered as he didn't want to be in the position of perhaps having to choose. He thought his profile would suffer , which is why he turned down mega bucks in China too.
I'll wager he looks back now and wonders " what if".
As for the future? I'm pretty certain he'll take time out and bugger off to America for a while. His future may be with the national team after we get pumped out the World Cup, or perhaps in the Championship, but I guess his career at the top level is all behind him now. Sunderland FFS. And I thought Lenny made a rickets of his career with Bolton.

Just can't see him ever getting an EPL gig again, after his latest disaster at Sunderland he'll be consigned to the managers graveyard with the likes of O'Leary, Reid, Curbishley etc.
Up to him if he's prepared to take a gig at a lower level.

I am very glad he did not answer that call...and Scotland don't need him either.

D'ye know, actually...... :suspect:

If things go the way we expect with Pedro, they may see Moyes as their very own Brendan Rodgers. Whether they could afford him or not is quite another matter.

You honestly think he would go there? I know his stock has fallen but FFS!!

Scotland job would be ideal for him at this stage I think. Strachan has lost it (in more ways than one)

Moyes will be back. Where who knows - Watford I'd say is a possibility. There will always be a job for him. It's the EPL normal rules don't apply. Just look at fat Sam.
