How long is McCanns contract at Dundee? End of the season job or longer?
Until the end of the season, as far as I am aware mate.

Ronny off to a great start.

Quote:

Ronny Delia has been forced to apologise to his predecessor at his new club in Norway after the former Celtic boss labelled Valerenga a 'rock bottom club.'

The ex-Hoops boss has endured a disastrous start to his new job after three defeats in his first four games of the season to leave the Oslo club in second bottom spot.

Deila - who had insisted at the start of the season he was aiming for the title - pointed out after their 4-0 defeat to Molde that the club were 'rock bottom' when he took over and had underachieved for years.

But that's infuriated the Valerenga boss he took over from.

Kjetil Rekdal said: "I think Ronny has distorted the truth and he's been very disrespectful.

"In the last few years, the club has had to slash costs just to survive.

"He should know that some of us had to work at the club in a difficult time when we had to take pay cuts.

"So to say he's taken off a rock bottom club is wrong."

And Deila had to issue a statement of apology to his predecessor.

He said: "Perhaps it was sloppy of me to say that.

"I can't remember saying they were rock bottom.

"Valerenga is a top club in my eyes and if I have offended anyone, I really apologise.

"What I meant to say is that we have struggled in recent years and last season we were almost relegated."
What an arse. Well shot of him.

Just needs time but. :ffs:
It's a five year plan.

Seems to me he's correct right enough. They were almost relegated last season so why is it a surprise that they're struggling now?

ronnys said they would be challenging for the title last month and has been there 9 months to get a squad and signings sorted

certainly no knowledge of norwegian football or the club so cant judge him on what hes done but seems more like he is being slated for talking rubbish at the start about what he can deliver

Is Neil Lennon back on Twitter? It looked like he was, then it looked like he wisnae?

There's two accounts claiming to be him - @lennon__18 and @neil_lennon44

Are they both genuinely him (and why have two accounts)? Or is one a fake?

Dutch newspaper De Telegraaf are reporting that Dick Advocaat and Ruud Gullit are lined up to form a management team to take charge of the Netherlands national team.

Former Rangers and Sunderland boss Advocaat, 69, has previously been the Dutch manager and would take over in June when his current contract at Turkish side Fenerbahce ended.

He would be assisted by former Chelsea and Newcastle boss Gullit, 54.

Holland have a terrible habit of reappointing old managers.

They've had Rinus Michels do the job on four separate occasions, Van Gaal do it twice, Hiddink also doing it twice, and now attempting to get Advocaat in for the second time.

They must have a constant yearning for days gone by.
