Surprised McLeish hasn't been touting himself for the Dundee job, McCann is a bizarre choice but either way, they took a huge risk sacking Hartley with the 5 bottom six games left to play and it being tighter than two coats of paint down there. I think had Dundee beat Hamilton on Saturday Hartley might still be there, that was probably the last straw. It was a bit odd the way allowed him to take training and then called him and punted him, getting their money's worth there. I think what really did for him was losing Stewart and Hemmings and not really replacing them, they scored a fair few goals between them last season.

I'm converted.

I now officially hate the split.

That we can't be there to see Dundee go down is a massive injustice.

I used to think a perfect season was Celtic winning a treble and Motherwell going down. It's nice to know we have options this year.

Neil McCann clyped on my mother in law years ago. She was a cook at Den Park and he was a young pro. He caught her smoking where she shouldn't have been and dobbed her in.

Skitter.

I look forward to the Gary Nevillification of McCann as he struggles to translate his famous eye for strategy and expansive football knowledge to the world of management.

Did McCann ever pass comment on Hartley's recent record as a pundit?

Wouldn't have minded Dundee staying up, I hope they go down through the play offs, with united dealing the fatal blow.

Exactly what I thought.

The only difference is Neville is highly intelligent, insightful and I could listen to him all day. McCann is none of these things. He's a hun with a rule book.

It's a win win for us. We get the wee Dick off the telly and hopefully he takes Dundee down totally destroying what little credibility he had and so he doesn't get a gig on the telly ever again.

My first thought too - their coverage might be more tolerable with him elsewhere.

Mind boggling stupidity from the latest set of buffoons to mismanage that club. No axe to grind with their fans but the directors deserve the relegation that surely beckons... :nono:
