Who was that numpty on here who was insistent that Moyes had been given our manager's job here in the summer?
Farakakt Altekaker or Fara the Kak talker.

To be fair to the guy, he seemed genuine and had a lot of us taken in, especially me. :ffs:

Moyes would have folded up here under any pressure.

Doesn't have the considered nature or intelligence of Rodgers. Nor does he have the tactical awareness of coaching ability of Brendan either.

I wanted Moyes in because I thought the side needed some more pragmatism especially after the European debacles under Ronny but we truly have dodged a bullet.

Especially when you see the side in full flow now.
Moyes was never my first choice, but as the time rolled on I warmed slightly to the idea for the same reason. We were simply too easy to beat under Ronny, and I thought Moyes would at least change that.

I never expected us to get Rodgers, so my first choice was always some other manager who'd get us playing football that we might actually enjoy watching. Pretty sure I picked some hipster choice with about 4 other votes in the KDS poll
I had Bielsa

Poor RaisedaCelt had his shins broke after putting 10k on Moyes.

Despite his shinguards.

At the time I would have taken either. I wanted Rodgers because of the way his team plays. I get that people found him a bit Brent-esque but he looks to have completely capped that though.

CL qualification, League won without a defeat, 2/3 trophies already set. League won by April 2nd. Attacking football, relatively decent defensively. Improving players we thought were lost, bringing in players of quality. Dreamy press conferences and timely substitutions . It's been a dream 8 months.

I think a lot of folk were a bit uninformed about him. I say that as one of them. Since someone probably has it bookmarked somewhere, I'll freely admit I said I was afraid we had replaced one gung-ho idiot with another. As soon as Brendan was appointed I actually read and watched all of the stuff about him, and was won around in less than a weekend, before he had even turned up to CP.

Long may the dream continue.

All true. He would also have signed Everton old boys, not had the wit to look at Moussa or Sinclair and been feart in every game v Aberdeen, Hearts and sevco. Clueless. His time has well and truly gone.
He has many failings but I don't think being bad in the transfer market is one of them.

He signed the likes of Lescott, Stones, Cahill, Pienaar, Arteta for pretty small fees considering where they play & got a great return on all of them.

True, but his signing Pienaar, Lescott, Oviedo, and Gibson again for Sunderland suggests that something isn't right with him.

What's the longest a manager has survived at a club with a 16% win rate?

Asking for a gormless friend.

Being reported that Edgardo Bauza is to be sacked tomorrow. Hardly surprising seeing as how pish Argentina have been under him. Can the new man, favourite seems to be Jorge Sampaioli of Sevilla, win them qualification for Russia without Messi? Big ask, maybe they've left it too late.

Tony Adams appointed Granada manager until the end of the season. Didn't even know Wim Jansen was there:

I can't believe Tony Adams is 50, doesn't seem that long ago he captained Arsenal to the double.

The reports were correct. No mention that I've seen of a successor.

Head of AFA was in Spain on Monday. Apparently discussing the position with Sampaioli. Time will tell.

SMSM gearing up for "Rodgers ideal candidate replace Wenger" stories as we speak. Rationale, too easy for Celtic here.
