Reports saying Steve McLaren has been sacked
Unsurprising if true. Derby effed up in a big way by punting Paul Clement.

That's probably McLaren finished. He'll be taking over Alan Curbishley's gig as ex manager who spouts pish on SSN.

Give it two years, and they'll reappoint him.

Yes like a drug to Derby.

Gary Rowett for Derby according to SSN. The news on there is eminently more watchable when Natalie Sawyer announces it. I think Rowett and Pardew both being mentioned for Norwich and Derby but Rowett seems to be the favourite for the Derby job.

Word in the midlands is that Mark Warburton will be appointed Forest manager this week.

Suspect McClaren got the push because Derby didn't want to risk Gary Rowett joining Norwich.

Some of the chairmen in that league have some serious issues.

Especially those in the shadow of far more successful neighbours..

That's a silly appointment. Sitting amidst a relegation battle is not the time to appoint a manager with visions of playing passing football and building teams with no graft.

Weird.

Derby aren't in a relegation battle. Forest are, though..

On the evidence of recent weeks, Warburton has his work cut out to keep them up.

Sorry, think I replied to the wrong post. I was referring to Warbs being the wrong man for Forest. He is not a relegation battler type of guy...

If they didn't approach him, he wouldn't be manager.
