On one of my horse racing groups, a woman has just related that she used to work in a bookies owned by MON when he played for Forest. Never ever heard of this. Anyone confirm or deny this story. No big deal, but never ever knew he was interested in racing, cheers
From the horses mouth;

He owned a bookies along with his brother who ran the business.
Said they were making decent dough, but then he realised it was cause he kept losing
thx georg, never knew this, ta mate

No-one expected Leicester to be relegation fodder this season. At worst a mid-table finish would have been about their level after their rivals stole their best player and strengthened themselves.

The fall from grace has been dramatic and that's why the board had to act. It's a shame, but better managers have been sacked for less.
I thought they would be. Second season syndrome strikes regularly
This is their third concecutive season in the top flight.

Unusually-classy move from Mourinho. Bit of a wink at times but today wasn't one of them.

I've never noticed - I'm not really paying enough attention to notice. I feel like some people treat this place like a full time job, remembering who every poster is, and who once said something snidey in 1987.

Now that I'm suitably informed, eff you UltraFox ya snidey bastard :shakefist: :arrr:
Don't really care, just hanging out with you losers until something better comes along.

Too cool for school, Stevie.
First time I've seen my name and "cool" in the same sentence :)

Jose Mourinho certainly takes it seriously

The big teams have dominated both domestic Cup competitions in the last two decades.
Folk keep saying they don't take them seriously, but they keep winning them.
And it is a major honour, as such.

Celtic seemed to take it seriously, and I celebrated the win over Aberdeen like any other trophy.
Arguing about whether major honours are major honours is a bit odd.

Ranieri an absolute gentleman:

"After the euphoria of last season and being crowned champions, all I dreamt of was staying with Leicester. Sadly this was not to be," Ranieri said.

"The adventure was amazing and will live with me forever. My heartfelt thanks to everybody at the club, everybody who was part of what we achieved, but mostly to the supporters.

"You took me into your hearts from day one and loved me. I love you too.

"No-one can ever take away what we achieved together and I hope you think about it and smile every day the way I always will.

"It was a time of wonderfulness and happiness that I will never forget. It's been a pleasure and an honour to be a champion with all of you."

That might pumpkin the conscience of some who are happy to see the back of him. Or maybe not.

sewra flitre  .

Outwith is a strange thing for an English person to say - I lived in England for 8 years and nobody had a clue what I was on about when I said outwith.

Not sure if you are serious time or not "cheap dig" :ffs: and genuinely cgaf for the most part what people post unless they are huns or total zoomers but since you raise the matter your have become a parody and a bit of a one trick pony - Your constant trolling becomes boring after a while but fire ahead with what you think is funny.

That's five managers in recent seasons that have won the EPL then been punted soon after - Mancini, Ancelotti, Pellegrini, Mourinho and Ranieri.
