That's why i said Jason Todd :naught:
Got told yesterday that Rodgers has been "asked" if he'd like to keep Kennedy on.....so can see Kennedy being here for the next wee while...
To be fair - he's in much the same situation that BR was himself, so I can't see him getting shot of him.

Given the way he was forced to end his playing career, I think the club would be hesitant to get rid of him as a coach.

Or alternatively maybe he actually has something to contribute and would be a valuable asset to Rodgers seeing as he knows the team and the club.

Tbf Kennedy is only setting the defence up to play the way the manager told him so if Brendan keeps him on expect him to be told this is how I want my defenders to play. Looking at the Liverpool side I see Craig Gordon might struggle in his set up as he likes his goalies to drop the ball and play out from the back something I can't see him being to comfortable with.

Considering his atrocious kicking last season, I'd be more than happy with him being told to play that way.

He was great with VVD and Denayer last season. No issues with this if defenders up to the job.

So long as they have options when they get the ball it shouldn't be that difficult for any professional footballer to receive the ball and look for a short pass.

Quoting limited to 3 levels deepappointment
Add Sutton arriving, eyebrows were raised, but what a signing.
I remember there was a bit of incredulity when Sutton signed. Couple were even calling him a Chelsea dud but I was ecstatic when he signed. Loved him as a player at Blackburn and was sure he would be a star for us.
Remember pulling into a village in Kinross on the way home from TITP because the headline outside the paper shop was "Sutton signs for Celtic" Was ecstatic too.

Always thought Gordon's short ball distribution was pretty good and his long kicks, whilst not brilliant, were an improvement on Forster.

I'd just like to say well done to Carnloughboy for such a confident, definitive shout when the bookies were still laying. Hope you lifted a few quid as a result.

Hope the cheers are ruining round his home town for years to come.
