Quoting limited to 3 levels deep
its manager of the year last year doesn't come into it. i also dont see why the the fact its championship makes it any less impressive when you consider its bottom of the table to top. would have loved to see brendan win it but to belittle others achievements is just daft
And we’re one game away from a treble THIS year. :ponder:

How can a manager have won a double, be on course for a consecutive treble and not win manager of the year?
Because the judging isnt linear nor should it be you can hardly compare celtics achivements to st mirrens due to the financial disparity.
rodgers has done an exceptional job and would have been a worthy winner. as would any of the other 3 imho

Strangely, I think Brendan will not be giving a shampoo about not winning; maybe even be quite pleased that Ross won it.

He knows he’s recognised by those that matter most.

I don’t think it’s any big slight on Brendan to say that the jobs done by Ross and Clarke are bordering on extraordinary, whilst to a large extent Brendan has done a bit more than expected of him.

Ross is a deserved winner and Brendan is above such trinkets.

Saw some footage of him singing ‘Let The People Sing’ during the celebrations today.

Can’t find it, again. It was only a short clip but can anyone find it on Twitter?
Can confirm this but not seen anything online. I laughed watching it because it was more than just a couple lines.

It looked like he got caught up in the moment, realised he was singing, thought about it for a second -- thought, eff it -- and belted out a few more lines!

Jack Ross, St Mirren Manager. Have I got it wrong? Did he not win it? :ponder:

got to be honest any of the 4 were worthy winners, they were bottom of the championship when he took over done a cracking job
There was only one man a worthy winner. One game away from a effing back to back treble, only lost three games in two years and they give it to a effing championship manager. :ffs:
That’s the Manager of the year come from the 1st Division in two of the last three years. What did Lenny do wrong?

I don’t even think Ross was the best manager in the championship.. I think David Hopkins done a more unbelievable job @ Livi than Ross @ StMirren. But to have a soon to be back to back treble winner overlooked is baffling. The rarity of trebles regardless of budget shows how big a job he’s done this year.

The only reason BR never won it IMO is that he’s been compared to himself last season rather than this season in isolation v other managers

Got the team absolutely spot on yesterday, although I wouldn't have brought on Sinclair.

BRENDAN RODGERS says he owes a loyalty to Celtic after officially ruling out a move to Arsenal.

The Hoops boss – who celebrated a seven-in-a-row title win over Rangers yesterday – has been heavily linked with replacing outgoing Arsene Wenger at the Emirates next season.

But Rodgers – on the brink of an unprecedented Double Treble – insists he has no plans to leave Parkhead for the Premier League.

He told talkSPORT: “Listen, I woke up here on a Monday morning as manager of Celtic.

“Believe it or not the sky is blue here in Glasgow and I’m in the best job in the world. I’m absolutely loving it.

“I’ve got a huge respect for Arsenal as a club.

“It’s a club when I started my coaching career, Arsene was just coming into the club and I learnt so much in that period as a young coach watching him and watching his dignity and his class and how he dealt with everything.

“So it’s a club I have huge respect for.

“But for me, I’ve always said it. I’m so happy here at Celtic. I’m in a job that I love. It’s a huge club. A big expectancy, big pressure.

“I would love to work in the Premier League again one day, but I’m hopefully going to be coaching for another 20 odd years. So it’s no time soon.

“I’m so happy. I’ve got a great loyalty with the board here, they’ve been so supportive for me.

“From the first day I walked in here, the supporters have given me everything and I feel a loyalty to them to ensure that we keep moving the club forward and keep progressing.”

Sinclair and Hendry were worse than 2 men down which is why they struggled to score more. Gave the ball away and Hendry actually succeeded in drawing expletives from me on an otherwise sublime team performance. Rangers best player and was only on the field for the last 20.

Just turned on Talksport to hear Rodgers say how happy he is and he's not interested in a move to arsenal or anywhere else, only to hear those two arseholes completely ignore his words and create a 'debate' out of nothing.

Parlour is an idiot. Brazil is a catastrophe.

Back to ignoring this scheidt station.

Aff again.
