Mental to think that (if) when we do 10 in a row, we could do it with four different managers.

Not sure you'd get that in any other part of planet football.

Such is life in Scottish Fitba.
Bayern Munich must surely be on course for something similar?
Dinamo Zagreb done it with about 15 different managers.

If Rodgers has any sense he’ll wait. I think he’s got an idea of his long term career plan given his age. It’s also true that in England alone one of the top 5 jobs will be up every other year.

I was unhappy with his pre-game interview today. For the first time, I thought I detected a bit of complacency before the one game on the calendar no Celtic team should ever be complacent about, not with that Hibs manager in charge anyway.

Having said that, Brendan has been brilliant since he arrived, occasional mistake notwithstanding, and is going nowhere anytime soon.
I was thinking the same. Brendan seemed a bit subdued before hand in his interview and after the game i felt something was wrong outside of the lacklustre performance in his demeanour too. Hope i'm wrong but.

I cant see arsenal going for him,but i found dermot's reaction to the possibility a bit odd i have to say. Brendan has improved us hugely and i want him to stay, even if the consistency hasn't been there this season we are still on the verge of the same season as last trophy wise....which is pretty incredible.
What did DD say?

Celtic are lining up a move to sign Bayern Munich defender Thomas Isherwood this summer, Football Insider sources understand

Isherwood, 20, has emerged on Celtic’s radar with scouts from the Scottish club watching him in action on several occasions this season.

Celtic boss Brendan Rodgers is looking to strengthen his defensive options this summer with Jozo Simunovic and Erik Sviatchenko expected to move on at the end of the season.

Rodgers sees Sweden Under-19 international Isherwood as someone with huge potential who could develop into a top-class player.

Bayern Munich beat a host of clubs, including Manchester City to sign Isherwood from Swedish club IF Bromma in 2015.

The rising star has yet to make his debut for Bayern’s first-team, but has impressed for Bayern’s reserves in the Regionalliga.

Isherwood has just a year to run on his current contract at Bayern and Celtic are ready to test the German club’s resolve to hang onto him by making a swoop in the forthcoming window.

A quick look at Transfermarkt shows that he has played only 457 minutes in 15 games this year. Celtic scouts must be spending a lot of time in Bavaria, since he’s only playing a 1/2 hr every other week.

This is true and the main reason I'm not too worried about Brendan going there.

he won't go, up here he might not get the weekly competition but he's guaranteed trophies every year and a shot at the champs league every season so when he retires its gonna show all the trophies he's won, double trebles, setting new records every year. He a trophy hunter and very good at it so why leave and go down to the merry go round that is the premiership where u loose two games and its a disaster!

plus we love him !

Brendan’s getting weekly competition up here. We haven’t won 4 games in a row this season. The Scottish league has been harder to win this season for us than the English league has been for Man City.

That's largely through Brendan's inability to organise a defence and playing a system that highlights his goalkeeper's only real weakness. If we had a Rieper and Mjallby type with Tierney on the left and a hard, quick and experienced right back, we would be unstoppable domestically. He must sort the defence out in the close season. We have the money, spend it.

As long as we spank the Huns to win the league this weekend and win the SC then the season can be considered nothing less than another resounding success.

Nah, football has been rotten for huge chunks and we are a handful of points ahead of an absolute basketcase of a club. Europe was also a shambles.
