I think he's off in summer, I said as much a few weeks back, been pretty obvious from early on given players effort in a number of games.
:cuckoo:
How would you explain up and down form this season?

Are you suggesting it’s up and down because they know he’s leaving in the summer?

That’s a leap and a half

Mental

He only talks about how happy he is and that he has more to do here

Why are we up and down?

He’s tinkered too much this season

We’ve not signed a good enough centre half

Dembeles injury

Griffiths injury

Sinclair awful form

Roberts injury

Rogic injury

Armstrong’s injury

Boyata’s drop in form - and Jozo too

It’s the season after the invincibles so it was never gonna be as good or consistent

It’s hard to maintain that level of focus it seems - as annoying as it is

But that’s just for starters as to why I think we’ve been up and down this year

Not because they know BR is off so they only turn up to beat sevco and win cups and get to the sc cup final - but you clearly know better

The building from the back is costing us time and time again. We are causing more problems for ourselves than our opponents.

In theory it’s a good way to play but we simply don’t have the players for it to work effectively.

If we are determined to keep the same style we need to buy a “sweeper keeper” and at least one ball playing centre back in the summer.

He is a smart man and he will not go to Arsenal at the moment as the fans will demand instant success and /or a bigger name. Not as drastic but its like Moyes taking over from Fergie.

Him being talked about im this light is great, if Arsenal balls up this appointment I can see him going next season when he would be more welcomed
Brendan will be here for the 10 at least.
x 2.

He has said as much.

Then he will go.
be nice if he stayed till he'd won 10 in a row :naught:

Poor today. Wrong team and setup due to atrocious transfer activity and players did not seem motivated.

I honestly think a goalkeeper is our most important signing

After today, I think the person to replace Boyata is top of my list

It was always going to be available at the end of the season.

you know more about it than me obviously, but I thought Wenger was contracted until next year. Anyway, BR has no chance of getting that job. Canny even beat Hibs ffs. :ph43r:

Which is utterly meaningless and unspecific. He'll leave at some point, in other words. Great insight.

Rodgers will only get the Arsenal or Chelsea job if up to three other candidates turn the jobs down first.

Caught again by a team of journeymen who were always going to work their balls off. He’s no fool so a lot of that must be down to the players
He picks the players. Nobody forced him to put Gordon back in over Bain. He chose to do that. Nobody forced him to play (or sign) Hendry or to start Boyata every week.

The entire team was shocking today but those 3 really stood out.
Bit of devils advocate in that post of mine. I don’t disagree that he takes a lot of the blame. What we got was another Hamilton repeat at times, not the whole game but enough to give them the encouragement.

Still think a lot of players could work harder and take more responsibility but thinking we will get the time and space to work the ball up the pitch at a slow pace there is just daft. Even rotten hibs teams you had to match the work rate

My only concern is whether we can start bringing in decent players. It really is the only question mark over Rodgers so far, and given the work needed this summer I hope it’s a lot better than what he has done so far.

It could be that DD and Lawwell may even prefer Brendan to move on if they know someone who can do the same job for less money. I thought DD’s comments weee strange, it did seem to signal an acceptance that he has already done enough for DD.
