Didn't think Rodgers could stifle a game like that at the end.

Hopefully see a wee bit more of that going forward.

That's every bit as satisfying as passing a team off a pitch.

Some rather questionable choices but we got there in the end and looked much better organised after the break. Still would like to see us being a wee bit more direct at times.

Aye.

The second we stopped gifting them chances they never had much to offer. Tavernier for them was garbage.

Taverneir is generally garbage except against crap teams. Brendan got his tactics spot on today.

Bringing Hendry on stifled them and bringing Eddie on won us the match.

Had my doubts about his ability to set us up defensively but showed he’s capable of it there.

We were never losing that game.

I think he got it wrong at the back today, but pitching in boyata was understandable. But after the sending off he sorted us out in very quick time.

The signings of Bain and Hendry at the tail end of the last window look very shrewd after today's game. Like the rest of us Brendan would no doubt want a little more investment and some bigger names, but he's been clever enough to anticipate where some extra cover might be essential and has utilised these players at exactly the right time.
