Brendan was blaming the first half performance against Morton (partly) on the extended time between games.
I was disappointed to hear that because it's absolute nonsense. If anything the team needed more rest. I'm not sure how much more time on the training ground you needed to pump Morton.
No he wasn't. He was blaming it on not being able to train because of the weather. Said they only had one session on the pitch since the last game and that's why they looked so rusty.
That's rubbish from him though.
How can a team get rusty in a week?
But presumably the reason teams train every day is so they don't get rusty, so when they don't train (even for a few days)....

He was just giving a straight bat to stupid questions. We didn't play well in the first half and won the second half in second gear. We didn't need any more time on the training ground to pump Morton. We did pump them, and hardly broke sweat doing it. There is nothing to get worked up about here.

It's as if some fans started criticising the team (much of it was fair) but now don't know how to stop.

"be careful what you wish for"

Brendan throws that wee verbal grenade, then bats away any leading questions.

Of course the full and proper quotation by Saint Teresa of Avila is, "There are more tears shed over answered prayers than over unanswered prayers." which sounds a bit feniany, well cos it is.

Sunday's team talk may be easier than Hearts at home. Get their stands emptied Brendan.

Looked and sounded a bit more like last seasons BR in that interview. I think he’s excited by the next few weeks.

He's going to play Armstrong isn't he?

Would go with Ntcham myself.

No way Ntcham should be dropped for Armstrong again in this fixture.

he needed something to spark the fire. Let's hope the motivation is strong to batter feck out them three times before summer.

My bet is for Stu to come on about 60 minutes for either Tam or Ollie to run the effers into the ground.
