That was like watching Deila's team facing Malmö tonight.

Defending a fragile, yet well earned lead from the first leg, and we fold at the first bit of pressure put on us. Then have as much of the ball as we like in front of their banks, doing not very much. Frustrating.

Need to go on a winning run now domestically. No excuses. Players are coming back and there should be no distractions.

Is he doing any better than Lennon?
With the budget he has been afforded no. Last season was exceptional. This season it has been horrible to watch. He has John Kennedy and Kolo Toure as defensive coaches and it ain't working. At corners we are useless.

I think we would be in better shape had the board invested in Lennon.

This waste of a season continues. No clue where he thinks he’s taking us.
Waste of a season?

Calm down man.

Rodgers suffering from second season syndrome like most of his players? Many have said that any manager could win the league with Celtic and that Rodgers was brought in to take us forward in Europe, well BR has hugely failed there.

14 competitive games in Europe and 2 wins, hardly taking us forward by any stretch of the imagination! Yes he cannot be held accountable for the mistakes the players make on the pitch but his Celtic team normally look beaten as soon as they concede in europe and surely it is his job to instill belief into the players or buy players he thinks can bring that to the team. He hasn't done that I'm afraid.

Honeymoon period over. Really need to see more fight in this team when things aren't going well. We were as good as out after the first goal tonight. The lack of fight in the second half was a disgrace.

Yup and at the end isn't that why Lennon was mutually consented. Lennon's teams at least showed guts and fight in Europe BR's team have brought our most embarassing defeats.

You can hardly blame the manager for players not taking responsibility at a corner.

We haven’t started, we can’t seem to put s run of performances together never mind results.
Players aren’t progressing if anything a number are going the other way, i suppose the league may be about to get interesting

He’s qualified for the champions league two seasons in a row and Europe this season after Christmas. What do people want

As great a first season as he’s given us domestically, he just can’t cut it in Europe. It’s a huge blow because there were signs in the CL last season that we could do better this year but the whole team has gone down like a lead balloon, as has the manager this season.

I’d rather we didn’t qualify for Europe if we are just going to get our arses felt. I get the money argument when we play the likes of PSG (although 0-5 at Home is a disgrace) but tonight was another level of pish.

Lennon was losing 3-1 to Sion in his second season and received very hard to take defeats to Milan, Barca, Ajax, Braga and Utrecht in his tenure. It wasn't all guts and fight.

What we saw tonight was not unique to BR or any one Celtic manager. It was a Celtic display we've all seen under numerous teams and numerous managers over the past 15 years.
