Rodgers says he got every player he wanted in the transfer window.
He's here for ten in a row

He has the gift of the gab oor Brendan  Listening to him talk about Hendry you could be forgiven for thinking we'd just signed Van Djik's replacement a couple of years late.

Probably a bit of psychology in there - good sound vibes for the boy to hear, and at the same time to stifle some of the whinging that we've bought a young inexperienced Scottish CB.

BR's the gaffer, so if he says he wanted JH then that's good enough for me

Brendan's brilliant at Press Conferences. Very rarely gets riled up and is great at keeping several balls in the air at the same time: everything he says has to play to several different audiences from the players to the fans to the press and to the board. His comments pre and post the transfer window were the perfect example of that. He's definitely our finest communicator since MON.

The capture of Hendry and goalkeeper Scott Bain on deadline day made it five signings in the January window. Morgan and German defender Marvin Compper were first, before an 18-month loan deal for Chelsea’s Charly Musonda pleased supporters and, according to Rodgers, had an invigorating effect in the dressing room.

‘It’s been a different feel the last couple of days, the real slog of games over the course of the December period — but I think now you feel that energy,’ he explained.

‘When you bring in good players, you can feel it. In training, in the dressing room, and also in terms of the fans — it just gives everyone a real lift.

‘And then you bring in a couple more players (on deadline day), so it’s really vibrant.’

Rodgers has signed Marvin Compper, Jack Hendry and Lewis Morgan, who was loaned back to St Mirren for the remainder of the season, during the January transfer window.

He also brought in back-up goalkeeper Scott Bain from Dundee and Charly Musonda from Chelsea on loan until the end of the 2017/18 campaign.

The Northern Irishman admitted the Celtic squad had been lifted by the new arrivals, not least Belgian playmaker Musonda, in training.

“There’s been a different feel the last couple of days,” he said. “The real slog of games over the course of the December period but I think now you feel that energy.

“You sense when you bring in good players you get the lift. Charly obviously you sense the changing room and everything about training, obviously the lift it gave the supporters when he comes on. It’s really vibrant.”

If Rodgers is right and Hendry is anywhere near as good as he's said this has been a very good window indeed.

We are suspect at cross balls so he might help sort that out

Probably not allowed to criticise Rodgers but it certainly looks like he’s lost the dressing room.

He has us playing so predictably - the pace of the passing and the movement is woeful. I accept this is not something Brendan can control once the players are on the pitch but he really needs to rattle a few cages

Best performance for months on Weds so changes shape and goes with 2 holding mids against a team you know will park itself on its 18 yard line.

Football has been shampooe this season on the whole.

Schooled today from the first minute and did nothing all game to remedy it.

All game we had 6 celtic players floating around the half way line without a clue what to do.

This league season has been nowhere near good enough for the money he is on and the backing he has got. We are worse off than in BOTH of Deila's season after 26 games. Unacceptable.

He's changing his team and formation on a whim regardless of who, where or on what surface we are playing on.
