Bit of a worry Murty getting the better of him twice now.
Thats the kind of garbage the scottish media will be peddling in the next few days.

if we went to ibrox trailing by 11 points and drew 0-0 I would be dissapointed at not being able to cut the gap, huns are delirious with a point.
they are now just another wee diddy club who will no doubt dine out with this heroic result till the next time dundee or partick take points off them

btw not having a go at popeyed, as he is just fishing, but this us what the smsm will be spouting

I see the Tynecastle high-pressing tactical masterstroke is back again.

We don’t “collapse” as soon as a side presses us high up the park.
We generally do.

St Johnstone, Huns and Hearts have all had huge success with it.

Aberdeen in the Scottish cup final is really the only time domestically we've stood up to a team really coming after us.
How did we totally collapse against St Johnstone and The Huns?

asking the keeper and defence to floof around at the back like they were a 70s Brazil squad then he needs to put a stop to it. Now.
That very same thing is what's got us to the 70 odd undefeated run.
Lots of things contributed to going unbeaten, but that wasn't one of them.

Thought we lost a lot of our shape in the second half and weren't able to penetrate the defence at all. I think a lot of that was when Sinclair went off. Think we needed that out-ball and Tierney was in between. I would have liked to have seen Mikey Johnston given a chance and kept the shape. He looks good with a ball at his feet and could have made the most of Tavernier moving up the field. With Hayes and Roberts out, it seems like the manager is quite short of options on the flanks.

Your talking nonsense , you mustn’t have watched us much in the last year and a half. it’s the way BR has wanted us playing from day one. It took a few games for the squad to convert but they quickly did and it’s been our style since.

Lacked options from the bench to change the game, strikers aside. That game was crying out for Roberts but continually starting McGregor is bizarre, Ntcham is much better.

WOW

Brendan Rodgers has spent/wasted loads of money

£2m loan fee for Pat Roberts for one season (plus massive salary) everyone would have bit the hand off to get roberts back
£5m total package for Hayes were using total package to have a dig now FFS
£15k per week New contract for a goalkeeper who will never push for the 1st team jersey how do you know his wage?
£3.2m for Kouassi who has hardly kicked a ball he has hardly been here a year, is a young boy and has had a few injuries
£1m for a German defender who has played only 110 minutes in 6 months and will be 33 soon
However much Kolo Toure's 2 contracts cost the best one yet, guy isnt even here and you are saying he is a waste of money catch a grip FFS
£5m on Ntcham ... who does look very good on his day a young guy who many will say is now looking the part is a waste of money???

Brendan Rodgers has spent/wasted loads of money

£2m loan fee for Pat Roberts for one season (plus massive salary) everyone would have bit the hand off to get roberts back Only gullible supporters like yourself wanted him back (oh and BR's agent who also happens to be Roberts agent) ... Roberts does not want to be here long term so what's the point in having him here ?

£5m total package for Hayes were using total package to have a dig now FFS So you think Hayes is good enough for Celtic ?

£15k per week New contract for a goalkeeper who will never push for the 1st team jersey how do you know his wage? Inside information

£3.2m for Kouassi who has hardly kicked a ball he has hardly been here a year, is a young boy and has had a few injuries Brendan said he was here for the Champions League games. It is still early but he has hardly shown any signs that he is a future big player

£1m for a German defender who has played only 110 minutes in 6 months and will be 33 soon

However much Kolo Toure's 2 contracts cost the best one yet, guy isnt even here and you are saying he is a waste of money catch a grip FFS Toure is at Celtic so you catch a grip !! He is a Defensive Coach along with John Kennedy ... hard to believe seeing as our defence is powder puff

£5m on Ntcham ... who does look very good on his day a young guy who many will say is now looking the part is a waste of money??? I did not say he was a waste of money .. just stating that Brendan has been given money to spend
I thought your comper post was mixed in with the toure one, if it wasnt why the eff are you moaning about a coach as a waste of money

Ntcham....you are saying is a waste of money, you put him in your own waste of money list

Your post was a load of huffy pish as we had drawn with sevco and you launched your toys out the pram. Draws happen we dont have a devine right to win every game and we will still stroll the league.

Collapse is definitely the wrong word. Apologies.

However, we have a wee crisis of confidence of sorts when teams don't sit with 10 men 35 yards from their own goal line.

Disagree, teams open up and come at us and we generally go through them. We struggle more with the teams camped into their own final third, especially this season.

The Hearts game was an aberration from this of course.

Teams in Scotland haven't pressed our central defence or goalkeeper as aggressively in the past as they have this season.

Sure, some teams have opened up, but there hasn't really been a real concentrated effort to hassle Gordon, Boyata and [insert cb partner] before.

I’m wandering if our dominance this last season and a half is finally starting to improve our domestic competition a wee bit.

If you have such an imbalance of quality in a league like we had last year then eventually the best team will begin to dip with the lack of suitable competition, but the others will improve as we became a far more lucrative target. Beating Celtic over this last 18 months would have been as good as a cup win to many.

Today was awful, but there was plenty of reasons why we weren’t playing well.

Still think BR has a huge rebuild on his hands if he wants to see a 3rd season of CL/Euro progress.

Lost points compared to last season but still in Europe , over all i'd say we're in a slightly better position.
As for recent form , it was the same last year in December , rank at times , with games being won by a baw hair. In mid- December 16 we beat Hamilton Dundee and Partick by only one goal , all at home , it was dire watching.
We're still in Europe due to nothing more than an enormous slice of luck, much like our league form this season, our European form is not at the level it was last year.
How is being in Europe a huge slice of luck?

We got beat 5 games out of 6.

We were lucky Anderlecht were in a worse position than we were. We were abysmal in Europe this season.

We did what we needed to do against anderlecht- I know today was a disappointment but let's not play down every achievement over the last 18 months

He certainly got the better of him today.

Only one team came out in the second half. Whatever happened at HT, it reflected much better on Murty than BR.

I was responding to someone who claimed we are in a better position this year compared to last. Nothing to do with downplaying the greatest domestic season in our history.
