I'm hoping that BR used that game as a direct message to the board that £3m players won't cut it. It's the only thing that makes sense to what I seen today.
Is that the same £3M players who have tanned them 5-1 on two separate occasions? We should be comfortably beating them today.

Zero home wins in CL scoring only one goal
Embarrassing defeats v PSG x 2 and Bayern Munich
4-0 away defeat to Hearts, Yes effING HEARTS
Home draws v Hibs, Kilmarnock, St. Johnstone and Sevco, Yes effING SEVCO ( a team managed by their effing under 20's coach)
Away draws to Hibs and Motherwell.

But hey ho we are 'learning'

Time to put the Bazooka to the head old chap
Wouldn’t like to see your posts before Brendan arrived if you have such demanding standards
Then again mibbe you were watching a different team

In my opinion, we are regressing at an alarming rate.Only game where we have been exceptional was Aberdeen away.We are not playing the same way as last season.Has Brendan been sussed out.He started brilliantly with Liverpool, almost winning the league then becoming very average. We have dropped more points than Ronny Deila did at this stage of the season.Hopefully we are just tired after all the games they have played, plus international call ups but there is no plan B,which Ronny always got slagged off for.Any team that presses us and we collapse.Thoughts?

BR gets the benefit of the doubt as his record is excellent - 70 odd domestic games and only 1 defeat, who wouldn't have signed up for that?

..but not starting Ntcham was seriously baffling.

..and if it really is him that is asking the keeper and defence to floof around at the back like they were a 70s Brazil squad then he needs to put a stop to it. Now.

You want Gordon to try and find a Celtic player by kicking it up the park ? He couldn't find his own baws with a torch and a pair of binoculars.

That very same thing is what's got us to the 70 odd undefeated run.

Good God, were you watching CFC before Brendan arrived!
We are several points clear at the top of the league, in Europe after Christmas, two thirds to a second domestic Treble, yet are regressing badly
We have played about a dozen more games than anyone else in Scotland on the back of a very long season last year with a very short break in the summer.
Teams are working hard to learn how to stop us, we have no Devine right to win every game.
If we were losing games and not making chances, then you could say we were regressing but that’s not happening!
I think the support need the break as much as the players!

Said on another thread not long ago that the team could be entering a new cycle/transition phase and today's game adds weight to this opinion.

BR's first season was mostly the same players with a couple key additions. Now I think he's looking to usher in a new phase, gradually filtering out the one's not suited to his style and adding more options who are. Will be interesting to see the strongest XI moving into next season and whether he has the guys in place/ a new spine moving forward into the next few years.

Yet every time we hoofed it up it came right back at us. Exactly what BR says. We need to be better at it not change the strategy. That’s were I’m dissapointed with McGregor and Armstrong they should get themselves free in midfield for an easier outlet. It happened a few times today with Brown making himself available and instantly we were on the offence with lots of options.

74 domestic games and we’ve “collapsed” once. The rest is utter nonsense that doesn’t merit a reply.

As I Said, hopefully it is tiredness and I have watched nearly every game for years .But given our budget compared to all other teams,we should be strolling it.I also said extra games ,but are we better than last season? No in my opinion which is regressing.

Anyone who doesn’t think we have gone back the way needs new specs. He gets paid a lot of money to fix it so hopefully he does. This same group never had a tynecastle or second half today in them last season

Might be injuries, might be fatigue, might be some are stale and need moved on but that’s why he’s on 50k pw, to find the reason and fix it. it’s not all plain sailing

Disappointed that Ntcham didn't start today. After Aberdeen last week it should have been Brown, Ntcham and Armstrong in the middle.

The forward situation needs resolved. We've only started the same striker two games in a row on one occasion in the last 11 games. For a position that's so integral to the way we play, so much change is not good or sustainable. If Dembele is fit, he starts the majority of games. Simple as that.

Quoting limited to 3 levels deep
Brendan Rodgers has spent/wasted loads of money

£2m loan fee for Pat Roberts for one season (plus massive salary)
£5m total package for Hayes
£15k per week New contract for a goalkeeper who will never push for the 1st team jersey
£3.2m for Kouassi who has hardly kicked a ball
£1m for a German defender who has played only 110 minutes in 6 months and will be 33 soon
However much Kolo Toure's 2 contracts cost
£5m on Ntcham ... who does look very good on his day

In my opinion Brendan is going backwards in his second season and his signings have been very poor
WOW

Brendan Rodgers has spent/wasted loads of money

£2m loan fee for Pat Roberts for one season (plus massive salary) everyone would have bit the hand off to get roberts back
£5m total package for Hayes were using total package to have a dig now FFS
£15k per week New contract for a goalkeeper who will never push for the 1st team jersey how do you know his wage?
£3.2m for Kouassi who has hardly kicked a ball he has hardly been here a year, is a young boy and has had a few injuries
£1m for a German defender who has played only 110 minutes in 6 months and will be 33 soon
However much Kolo Toure's 2 contracts cost the best one yet, guy isnt even here and you are saying he is a waste of money catch a grip FFS
£5m on Ntcham ... who does look very good on his day a young guy who many will say is now looking the part is a waste of money???

Brendan Rodgers has spent/wasted loads of money

£2m loan fee for Pat Roberts for one season (plus massive salary) everyone would have bit the hand off to get roberts back Only gullible supporters like yourself wanted him back (oh and BR's agent who also happens to be Roberts agent) ... Roberts does not want to be here long term so what's the point in having him here ?

£5m total package for Hayes were using total package to have a dig now FFS So you think Hayes is good enough for Celtic ?

£15k per week New contract for a goalkeeper who will never push for the 1st team jersey how do you know his wage? Inside information

£3.2m for Kouassi who has hardly kicked a ball he has hardly been here a year, is a young boy and has had a few injuries Brendan said he was here for the Champions League games. It is still early but he has hardly shown any signs that he is a future big player

£1m for a German defender who has played only 110 minutes in 6 months and will be 33 soon

However much Kolo Toure's 2 contracts cost the best one yet, guy isnt even here and you are saying he is a waste of money catch a grip FFS Toure is at Celtic so you catch a grip !! He is a Defensive Coach along with John Kennedy ... hard to believe seeing as our defence is powder puff

£5m on Ntcham ... who does look very good on his day a young guy who many will say is now looking the part is a waste of money??? I did not say he was a waste of money .. just stating that Brendan has been given money to spend

There’s no denying we’ve gone down a couple of levels since last season.

Time for Rodgers to change it, it’s what he gets the big bucks for!

I’d personally like the team to be built around Ajer and Ntcham.
