If MD's ankle is so bad, why was he allowed to continue until the 65th minute? Did we get the magic sponge on it and tell him to 'run it aff'?

Heard some people suggest Brendan isn't too hot on identifying good signings, but he's sure got an eye for collecting good assistant coaches.
Davies is pure class, as is Brendan.
Aye, I'd take him as a replacement in 2021

injuries tend to flare up after games, moussa probably felt sore during the game but wanted to carry on.

That type of injury wouldn't, they'd know it was a bad one right away. I understand MD might have said he was OK but the physio should know better. Playing on, as every Sunday League player knows, will only make it worse.

Long time away but when Rodgers does talk about the future it's normally "when we move on.....". I think they'll stick together as a team but you never know. 3 and a half years till we have to worry about it anyway.

I'd trust the Celtic medical staff , to be honest.

Their let him play on for an hour, now he's out of our most important game so far this season. I'm not sure how much they should be trusted tbh.

Every Sunday afternoon footballer knows how to deal with deep tissue inflammation, unlike these so-called witchdoctors with their "sportuing science" and "experience treating footballer injuries" and "university degrees",

The video footage of Davies I watched said he was out for tonight, was likely he will be out for the weekend but would need to wait and see how he responds, with the inference being he may be fit enough if he responds positively.

Nothing was said about Anderlecht, so where does this certainty about him being out of that game come from?

Apologies, when I heard he wad out injured I googled it, and one of the few sites I'd hit was the STV one. Davies said "It's likely he will be (out for the weekend as well). We will just have to see how he responds. Obviously it's swollen and sore. We will find out in the next few days."

Not conclusive right enough, but the point stands whether he will miss the game or not. Should he have been allowed to play on? We must also have looked at it at HT and thought it was fine.

I've thought that myself, but some guys aren't an assistant with a view to becoming a manager. It seems that the support he offers BR and the way he works with BR seems to be a great match. CD might be happy being an ast. manager to the right manager.

He's said he loves working under Brendan & is learning a lot, but wants to manage one day.
Didn't get the impression he meant anytime soon.

Aye, you're right. Should likely take the advice of Sunday league players instead.

WTF are you blabbering about? You think it wise to let him run about for an hour on an ankle that is obviously damaged?

Wonder if he's worried about recent performance levels cup final exempt but we haven't been good at home this season 7 of our next 8 I think are at home time to put the after burners on and move away from the pack.

We have been fighting on three fronts, extending the gap and still unbeaten domestically and hopefully progressing in Europe. I'm sure he has it covered
