"Save me from my Parkhead HELL pleads Rodgers".
He's here for the ten but he'll be talked up for every EPL job that comes up by every hack that thinks people come to Celtic to get a move to Southampton.

Brendan Rodgers last night distanced himself from a move back to the English Premier League by insisting that he couldn’t be happier anywhere else in the world than he is at Parkhead. West Ham fans were clamouring for their club - who appointed David Moyes as boss yesterday - to make a move for the Celtic manager and Rodgers’ record-breaking exploits with the Hoops have not gone unnoticed south of the border. But the Northern Irishman is adamant he is no rush to head back into the cut-throat world of the English top flight because he is so satisfied with his work and life in Glasgow. He said: “I look at the Premier League and you have virtually got a six week cycle and that’s frightening as a coach and a manager. “It used to be you managed the club and dealt with the club but lots of times now you are managing in a six week cycle and if you have a bad four or five weeks you can be out of work and that way you’re never going to progress as a club. “When I came to Celtic, the club was looking to move on. Ronny (Deila) had done a good job in his two years winning two titles. I felt if we came in and won in a better way we could fill the stands again. “And it has been fantastic for me working at Celtic and doing what we are doing. “I’m not sure I could be anywhere in the world, not just in England, and be as happy as I am now because I’m getting the chance to develop players.” http://www.dailyrecord.co.uk/brendan-rodgers-insists
I know it's just words Brendan. I know it is. But it's the right ones all the time.
I love you.

Hope the players have enough awareness to win the next game and give Brendan a 63 game record on his own merit. For all his humility he would justifiably deserve this. Apparently his personal unbeaten record is 67 in British domestic matches, which includes his final four games with Liverpool.

He is, potentially, our second best manager of all time Early days, I know, but it's plain for all to see
He has recently gone public about the January transfer window, being the most important time for us to make additions. He's also reported he's looking to make signing/s.
Lets hope (after him saying, basically, the same thing this time, last year) that the powers that be can get the finger out and prove that they can, actually, execute financially significant incoming transfers!

Celtic are reportedly eyeing up a January move for Ukrainian goal machine Artem Dovbyk. The Hoops have been monitoring the Dnipro striker, who is regarded as one of the top prospects in the former Soviet country and who is available for free at the end of the year. Dovbyk has netted 12 goals in 12 games this season in the Ukranian Second Division, after Dnipro were relegated for the first time in their history after getting points deducted due to outstanding debts. His contract expires on December 31 and he's made it clear he won't sign a new deal. And reports in Ukraine have claimed that Celtic and Bundesliga side FC Augsburg have both offered the 20-year-old a contract. Dovbyk was named Young Player of the Year in Ukraine for 2016/17 and has already been called up for the senior squad by manager and Ukrainian legend Andriy Shevchenko, although he was an unused sub. He's a product of Dnipro's youth academy and had a spell on loan with Moldovan side Zaria Balti two years ago. He's netted nine goals in his last eight matches for Dnipro, but has made it clear he wants to try a new challenge. In the summer, Dovbyk said: "I am keen to try football abroad. I think it would help my chances of playing for Ukraine and improve me as a footballer." Celtic's scouting network have cast their net far and wide recently and Dovbyk is in their sights and they wouldn't have to fork out a transfer fee. http://www.dailyrecord.co.uk/celtic-have-offered

There's a Evening Times article in which Donati states that Sevchenko recommended Celtic to him so maybe he'll put a good word in for us 're this guy.

Brendan Rodgers has put Reading defender Liam Moore at the top of his list of January transfer targets. And the Celtic boss is ready to test the resolve of his former club with a move for the £5million-rated centre-back, who can also play right-back. Rodgers admitted central defence is an area he wants to strength when the transfer window opens again in the new year. And 24-year-old Moore has caught the eye of the Parkhead manager after impressing since joining the Royals from Leicester last summer. Moore signed a new four-year deal at the Madejski Stadium after flourishing under the guidance of former Holland and Manchester United centre back Jaap Stam. The former England Under-21 international started out at hometown club Leicester City but had loan spells at Bradford City and Brentford early in his Foxes career. Rodgers is keen to strengthen the heart of defence after injuries to key players at crucial times this season. Jozo Simunovic and Erik Sviatchenko have been blighted with fitness problems, while Dedryck Boyata has also been missing at times. The Hoops boss has been forced to play Nir Bitton as a makeshift central stopper at times and Moore is seen as someone who could strengthen that area. http://www.dailyrecord.co.uk/celtic-boss

He signed a new 4 year deal in August, I haven't seen him play but he ticks a few boxes. I think there will be better value elsewhere though.
