Quoting limited to 3 levels deep
The same Scott Brown who had the best pass percentage in the CL last year - yeah he is a weak link

Mods please do your thing with this one
I've already said Brown was superb in last seasons Group Stages, but lightening doesn't strike twice as he's proved so far this season at home to Rosenborg (where he almost cost us the tie) and away to Astana (where again he was hugely responsible for our collapse).

Ntcham and Armstrong should be the partnership for this seasons CL.
Brown made 1 mistake when the tie was out of sight so let's drop our captain. Pretty sure Brendan thinks that way.

Erik for Boyata is another
Have you erased from your memory Erik's world class last ditch tackles and blocks to prevent Sergio Aguero from scoring?
Centre backs who need to make lots of last ditch tackles are doing something wrong. Sviatchenko is poor on the ball, gives away too many fouls. Should be nowhere near a champions league game.

Brendan needs to realize that Brown, Boyata and especially Gordon are going to cost us in this seasons CL before it's too late. They are our weak links and Brendan must grow a pair and make sure neither of them are in the side in our opening game against PSG.
are you serious :cuckoo: honest to feck you really have to wonder about folk on here at times
Very serious
congratulations you are now only the 2nd person in my kds career to get blocked , honestly i really cant be bothered with folk talking shampooe just for the sake of it

I'd drop Griffiths, Sinclair and Tierney as we are going to get a doing anyway in every game at CL level, and no point in exposing these guys to that level of cruelty.

Lustig, Jozo, Tierney, Ntcham, Rogic, Roberts, Sinclair, Dembele are all players I have the confidence in stepping up for us at CL level. There are of course quite a few who I have very, very little confidence in. Gordon and Boyata being right at the forefront of that.

Scott Brown played the Rosenborg player through on goal with another of his slack passes, luckily for us the Rosenborg player missed a sitter or the tie could have been over had we lost at Celtic Park that night.

Boyata has been rag-dolled by some of Hamilton Accies and Inverness's finest in the past, so he must be in good company then.

What this boils down to is that our undefeated Treble winning manager who turned round the form of a group of players doesn't have a clue what he is doing

Do everyone a favour and stick to your own team who KO at 3 today, instead of boring us with your stream of semi consciousness

In fact I get what you're trying to insinuate now, and how very well dare you insight such a claim.

So saying that I wouldn't like to see Brown, Boyata or Gordon as part of our CL team makes me a Sevconian when all three of those players have received their fair share of criticism (and rightly so may I add) in the past from a very big handful of our supporters? Aye good one, it's 'supporters' like yourself who put genuine fans off voicing their opinions even if they may be controversial to the majority, doesn't mean they're wrong though. I will have the fear if any or all three are playing for us against PSG, that is how I genuinely feel about those three players.

As a matter of fact I'd argue any of our supporters who do want to see those three players play for us in the CL this season (In particular Boyata and Gordon) don't want what's best for Celtic on the pitch.

It seems you know more about that side than me considering you know what time they are kicking off at.

I can't believe not wanting Brown, Boyata or Gordon in the side come our CL games makes you a zombie. Well our stadium must be about a third at least full of them on match days if that be the case because I know a number of fellow Celtic supporters who don't want to see Boyata or Gordon near the side, I'll admit my views on Brown are by and large more controversial but I just feel a combination of Ntcham beside Armstrong would be better.

And that undefeated run that we had also had Erik at the heart of it for the first 6 months alongside a host of different CB combinations people seem to forget.

Brown has many positive attributes, mainly his energy, drive and determination. What he doesn't have is great technique, range of passing or pace; as he gets older the things he's good at have less impact, and his weaknesses are more evident. I wouldn't drop Brown but him being an automatic first-pick won't be the case for much longer beyond this season.

It's a tough one for BR to gradually adapt the team to playing without SB, but he's going to have to do that fairly soon.
