Yet again, he pulled off a fine result. He also got Sinclair playing much much better in the second half.
Let's not pretend this was all managed thru

Lots over two legs did not work

And pre season signings nowhere to be seen

So we deserved to go thru but they were pish and it was 1-0

Nowhere near last season's quality and tonight plus next cl qualifier match are the most valuable of the season
If I were to be cast away on a desert island, you'd not be someone I'd pick as a companion.

Edit spelling

I'm no longer going to question his decisions. Bitton at centre back was effing solid.
What was the match thread like when Bitton came on?
Pages 8 and 9. Did not disappoint, ya bunch of surrender monkeys.
Yeah I may have had an input there.

Brendan managed the match brilliantly last night, and even coped well with the early loss of Svietchenko. Bitton stepped in and looked like he'd played there his whole career. Probably helped that Bendtner is more static than me right enough.
The switch in the second half , Hayes off, Griffiths on, Forrest wide changed the game, and as Rosenberg opened up, we took advantage of the space. This was obviously BR's plan all along. Why we question him now is becoming real folly, and I am one who questioned the team selection. He gets it right nearly all the time.
An away win with a composed, professional performance? What next? A comfortable home win would be nice.

Tactics were spot on and the game was managed properly. We have taken a huge step forward appointing brendan.

That substitution put us down into the Europa league at that point.

You can long sense brendans impatience and irritabilities with a lot of these hun journalists. He's not that great at hiding it,but totally professional gives them nothing.

Who was the silly cow that complained that she hadn't been able to ask a question, then comes out with complete waste of time? Journalism for Dummies :ffs:

Esplin deserved that from Brendan. Snidey tone right from the start of the series of questions he asked.

I'm new. Be gentle.
I love Brendan to bits, and genuinely think he's the best thing to happen to the club in a decade. But I really wasn't a fan of the way he spoke of the squad having "no idea how to play" when he came in last year. The bit about travelling more in hope than in expectation, it's hard not to agree with, but that bit seemed overly dismissive of his predecessor and the boys in the squad.

They did have no idea how to play though, they looked uninterested and couldn't play basic football at times under Ronny, sad but true.

His predecessor was a bit of an idiot. He's been - if anything - overly polite about him when talking to the press.
