'You've now written your own name in Celtic's history. It's a club that appears to have fallen in love with you and I get the feeling you've fallen in love with the club.'

'No... I was born into Celtic. There's been no growing, only pride'

Gah.
 He had me at hello.

(I wanted Moyes :ph43r: ).

My better half, who hitherto has had no interest in sport of any kind whatsoever, has recently become somewhat Celtic minded  :rocker:
Watching Brendan getting interviewed pre-game, she said "I like that man's demeanour". So do I, darling. So do I  :rocker:

Brendan Rodgers, make us dream - Celtic FC.

They showed him celebrating after Tam's goal. He has a wee moment with his face in his hands. Think he was taking it in.

Well done, Brendan. Here's to many more!

I tell you what, the end of season dvds have been crap for a good while now. I think I still love the 00/01 most. I hope like eff Brendan's treble winners sees the quality of the post season dvd review increase as well. By that I mean not just crappy 60 seconds reviews of an an entire month that sound robotic until you get to the end and...that is it.

You have heard us calling in the night

You are home to lead the Green and White

(I wanted Moyes :ph43r: ).

I was happy with either, but at the time I certainly favoured Moyes.

I really didn't think Rodgers obsession with controlling the game through possession and his unshakable belief in playing out through defence would work as effectively as Moyes 'defence first' approach in Scotland. Obviously I've been a little off with that thinking, but I kept on having nightmares thinking of whoever was in defence playing the ball back and it taking 40 bobbles before bouncing over the 'keepers foot and into the Celtic net.

I thought Moyes 'percentage' football would serve us better in Europe, too. Again. I was expecting the worst with our high line being exploited as we're 3-0 down inside 20 minutes as our defensive set up is taken apart by some wee pacy bastard.

At the time, post Deila, I thought we needed a pragmatic no-nonsense approach. Not a 'poet' as Jose Mourinho put it. Never in my life have I ever been so effing happy that I was wrong. Brendan has shown me that Scottish football isn't the lost cause I once thought it to be. :)

Among other things he's shattered our recent Hampden hoodoo and ended our 3 match final losing streak against Aberdeen.

We've played at Hampden 4 times this season.

1-0 and 2-0 v The Hun
3-0 and 2-1 v Aberdeen.

I don't go to Hampden with the fear of a Celtic capitulation like I once did. :)
