Yeah, well, not been following Celtic quite as close as I used to lately, so please have be excused :p Am I still allowed to post? :lockedsoon:

Just talking from my ass here, and I´m sure nobody in here reeeally want the discussion, but a club like Arsenal - which could be a great match for Rodgers - may not see a contract as a hinderance for making an approach. Long term contracts are not always long term plans.

Google translate did a decent job there :)

Didn´t mean it as anything negative, moreover sharing my worries. I hope Rodgers will stay and I´ll always cheer for Celtic, as much plastic as I am.

Good to see you back NP. Always enjoyed your posts, but your man Ronny is not off to a very good start this season, is he?

Arsenal might be needing a new manager, mind. Or somebody else.

A few things concerning Celtic have passed me lately, but has Rodgers recently commented on his future at Celtic?
Norwegians are great fishermen. Why not just follow your hero Ronny and eff off back to obscurity.

This is his biggest game of the season so far. The treble and the opportunity to join an elusive club is at stake.

Let's do them.

I can think of at least one thing you may have missed.

Of course a contract won't put a big £PL club off from making an offer for Brendan.
Although, you might have missed his comments about realising what you have & not being in too much of a rush to move away from something good. He says he's in a very happy place in all areas of his life & is grateful for the opportunity here, where he has total control of the football aspect of the club.
He has made significant indications that he will be here for 10 in a row & put himself down as a Celtic legend in the process.

I honestly very much doubt if he'd go to Arsenal, he's already had Liverpool very close to winning the same league & doesn't seem to be very well appreciated for it - I guess he's very savvy to what he wants in life & by his own admission, he is very happy with his lot.

Welcome back by the way, oh & he might get the DEILA Dome indoor full-size pitch & the hybrid Desso pitch that Ronny wanted - your man did have good ideas too & I hope he's doing alright (similar to you, I've kinda.lost interest now he's moved).

Think Arsenal would be after a bigger name (Simeone, Mancini etc) to replace Wenger.

Rodgers fancies Spain I think. If that's the case building a good rep in European competition is the way to go and a few years here doing well in CL, improving each year might benefit that career goal more than doing well in the EPL.

Don't remember ever feeling like this about another human being. Even MON or Henrik - and I'm not for a minute suggesting that he's a bigger figure than those guys, because he isn't...yet - but there's just something about him. He oozes class

Doing a beautiful job, and this summer should bring genuine transfer excitement for a change. Progress in Europe aligned with continued League domination to follow please. The development of the squad and our club as a whole is moving on nicely.
