Mjallby is right though.

Easily right. MON team would murder this team.

not so sure about martins first season team.

dembele against vega? mjallby was constantly roasted in a back 3 against lovenkrands nevermind sinclair. current team also much better in europe than that season
Wonder how Larsson and Sutton would get on against Boyata and Jozo.

It would be 23 -0 before half time.

Henrik wouldn't get an inch with KT chasing him about the field for an autograph.

no they wouldn't

MON would put 3 in the back, and Sinclair and Forrest/Roberts would tare them apart. 23-23 at HT seems like a fair judgement

We did play a back 4 for most of MON's last 2 seasons. Our back 3 against the huns front still haunts me, Lovenkrands :twitch:

MON's sides would finish well above the current side over the course of a season.

Quoting limited to 3 levels deep
He also used the words "blatant cheating" and I still think he was including Robertson (along with the diving, cheating scrote Schalk) in that regard.
Definetly was. Started talking about the officials then briefly mentioned the player/incident then said it was 'blatant cheating'.

I'm sure he was talking about all involved.

https://streamable.com/b5c6w

He can't be any clearer in the 1st minute of that interview ffs  . He's talking about the officials and the decision given, doesnt seem to care about the player.

I am equally convinced that his "blatant cheating"remark was aimed solely
at the player.
Imagine the media reaction if it was aimed at the ref.

I agree. I don't think BR is stupid enough to accuse officials of cheating and get himself banned. He did however make it absolutely clear that the decision was incredible, the worst he'd ever seen. So he made his point without stepping over the line.

No even a comparison. Only Gordon would get in O'Neill's team. Tierney and at a big push Sinclair, if he played 4-4-2.

Broony in place of Lennon.

Fishy fishy.

I wonder how Brendan would handle Larsson, Hartson and Sutton, none of them 24hr athletes but all three at the top of their game with us, we all know Larsson liked a smoke and a bevvy and big John liked a big breakfast or two and a bevvy  and big Sutton could be an awkward carrot and liked a bevvy.

Would Brendan drop any of them or just accept that they where that good he could let his usual standards slip with them, infact the same goes for most of that team at the time
