The first time I think he's gotten the changes wrong but the players just weren't at it today. If this is all we have to complain about then were in good shape.

Yeah, even then if Armstrong wasn't injured then he wasn't making that change. He must have a reason for not wanting to throw Kouassi in yet although in hindsight, it couldn't have
turned out worse than Griffiths did.

The Inverness game annoyed him so much that he was still on about it 4 months after the game. Today will be even worse, given our performance was nowhere near what it was that day up there and they probably deserved that point. Semi-final should make up for it and I'm confident it will.

Today will also have told him a bit more about some players as well. Bitton in particular but the full defence other than KT could be focused on.

Brendan probably knew Eboue would have got a red from that ref for just looking at the ball.

Gordon and Boyata were the only defensive players with pass marks today.

Eboue as of yet still remains an unknown quantity and he's out of top level match practice. If he came on and looked off the pace we'd all be talking about how he should have brought on Griffiths instead. I'm sure there's plenty of food for thought for Rodgers today. Himself and the team will sit down and analyse where we went wrong and the impact of the changes forced or otherwise.
If we had been winning comfortably I think Eboue would have got game time in the second half where he could have worked himself into the game - The way that game was playing out Madden would have been looking for the slightest opportunity to red card him - I personally think despite his lack of game time he would have done us a turn as he is fit but the red card scenario probably swung it in favour of McGregor whom Rodgers trusts.

Hopefully Armstrong is okay and Rodgers drops Lustig,Svaitchenchko and Bitton and starts Gamboa,Simunovic and Eboue at Dens.

Sorry but if Eboue was not ready to come on he should not have been on the bench. The whole point of him being there is to come on and play midfield.

Rodgers made a mistake putting Griffiths on for Armstrong (I know he was injured) as we lost our shape, surrendered the middle of the park and started playing long balls to the flanks.

First time I've disagreed with changes he has made and it's hardly the end of the world but think he made mistakes today.

I don't disagree, I said Rodgers must have had his reasons for not putting him on.

I wish the semi final was next week. Huns celebrations of a draw are laughable but also a pain in the arse.

Always look on the bright side of life...

They could not beat us at our worst.
They are closer to Hearts than they are Aberdeen.
They are closer to Inverness than us.
They celebrated the draw last April similarly...next time they played us, we tanked them 5-1.

Bad day at the office but I'm confident Rodgers and his backroom team will analyse today's game extensively, and we'll see a massive improvement for Hampden.

Stranchanesque gameplan today. Long ball against a team who gives up more space in the 10 position than any team in the league.

The failure to exploit the space gifted to us was an embarrassment. Hands in pockets or sat on the bench when the team was a effing shambles. Eboue on the bench but couldn't be trusted to come on when two MF down. Subs were a joke.

But aye that pitch is crap eh?

He got the armstrong one wrong today. The substitute had to be like for like. Throwing a player like Griffiths on when he wasn't needed was honking.

But he's got about 98% of his subs right. Just thought he misread that one today really badly.

First major tactical error of the season. Given we are now in March, that is pretty good going.
