read on the hb that we are getting an expensive new pitch in the summer, same kind of hybrid turf like arsenal have
should make a difference as ours has been poor since the commonwealth games
And in addition he is not happy with the size of the Lennoxtown Indoor which Tommy Burns told them was inadequate in the planning stage. Be interesting to see if they can come up with a way of resolving that. I'm sure the £40 million from selling Dembele will help resolve that.

Also, what the eff is a hybrid pitch? Think its a mix of real grass and synthetic grass
Edit: SRU article on it

Scottish Rugby is making the biggest single investment in its Murrayfield home since the stadium was reconstructed in 1994.
A new hybrid grass pitch will be installed later this year to be ready for the start of the 2014-15 season, it was announced today.
“We are doing this primarily because this hybrid pitch is widely recognised as the best grass surface in the sporting world and we all want to see the Murrayfield playing surface restored to the pristine condition for which it is renowned,” said Scottish Rugby’s Director of Management Services, Mark Laidlaw.
Artificial fibres
The Desso Grassmaster hybrid grass pitch is a natural sports grass pitch, which is reinforced by millions of artificial turf fibres.
“This results in a high-specification pitch providing the feel and performance of natural grass with the stability of an artificial pitch,” Laidlaw explained.
One of the key advantages of the Desso Grassmaster pitch is that it has a faster recovery than natural grass alone and that it can be used intensively, hosting more than 40 fixtures in a season.

Ronny Deila thought the same. He wanted a full-size indoor pitch so that the bad weather could be mitigated. Hopefully we build one now with a some of the CL money. aye ronny said we were getting it until maribor knocked us out in the qualifiers.
would be good to have that sorted also. should still be renamed the ronny dome
the desmond story is definitely true, one of the hun directors even came out and defended their "overexuberance" which tells you they are guilty.

STEWART Robertson has laughed off claims Rangers are responsible for the appointment of Brendan Rodgers at Celtic.
A newspaper article said Dermot Desmond moved for the former Liverpool boss after witnessing “over-the-top” celebrations from the Ibrox board following last month’s Scottish Cup semi-final win for Gers .
He said: “I did see those reports. The Rangers directors were ecstatic at winning.
“However, you have to remember it was a release of four or five years of hard graft trying to get the club out of the hands of the guys who had it.
“It was definitely not grand-standing. Yes, we celebrated, absolutely, we’re only human. It was exuberant celebration, to use the word of the day.”

If there is anything in the DD story then it is pretty shameful imo. He shouldn't need to be inspired or have crucial decisions made him by some Huns celebrating. He should be striving for the best regardless - not leaving Lawwell to eff up the appointment of Roy Keane before rubber stamping his earmarked number two. The dwindling season tickets, lack of Champions league and poor financial performance should have been enough - eff what the huns think.

Only time will tell if they've permanently learned from their previous failings/lack of ambition, no more 'who else could we get to manage us?' nonsense as an excuse.
Hopefully we won't have to find out for a few years yet, Brendan won't be here forever.

This could be the most important thing the club have done since rebuilding the stadium to be honest. If we can begin to bring through regular talents at a level good enough to play regular first team football for Celtic we'll be competitive and also extremely financially secure. Big Ronny had his head screwed on in that aspect at least.

Only seems good because he has a far bigger budget than any other team in the country. Just wait till the bears start competing again and you'll have people calling for his head.

Big Ronny had his head screwed on in that aspect at least. The future of the club is tied up in producing continental class players through the youth system. We need proper facilities to do that, especially in the dark, dank Scottish winter.

Pretty sure CaltonBhoy said DD left before the penalties even started. Their behaviour might not have started at full time, though.
They were ahead twice which would have been enough for them to start their pish. When they went ahead in extra time, DD might have thought 'eff this'.
