Griffiths chat on sky by gaffer hints to lifestyle and why he is not happy. Mentions issues he has with scottish players is just that.

Tend to think Griffiths is maybe running out of time with him at the club.

I think it was a very clear message to Leigh Griffith's that he either steps up or steps out. Standards are improving at CP and what he might have got away with Ronny he won't get it away with now. I do hope Griffith's does get the message but if he doesn't he will be away to the championship.
Unlike Deila, the manager has complete authority and I'm certain Griffiths will take his constructive criticism on board.
Personally I would say it is because Rodgers is going to have a choice - deila didn't as he was relying on Griffith's to win games.

Really? How long do you think he hadn't bothered before BR went public?
Who said Griffiths 'hadn't bothered'?
You said you're sure he'll take BR constructive criticism on board.

What gives you that idea?

Rodgers' brilliant man management skills.

Under previous managers, and I include a successful one in Lennon, Griffiths could afford to be slack, but under Rodgers he will have to shape up and while he is pretty stupid he knows he will never reach a higher level than Celtic.

Do you seriously think this weeks public acknowledgment of Griffiths lack of professionalism is the first time BR has spoken with him about it?

Brendan said it publicly a couple of weeks ago so for him to repeat it and underline it more or less says he's not listened or taken heed.

I'm not trolling anything.

BR went public with this as a warning to Griffiths. That's it, it's out in the open now, either Griffiths steps up or he doesn't. BR is going to the media with this because whatever he has done previously hasn't worked. The media is where managers go when they have been ineffective with turning a player around. A lot of managers, (but Rodgers especially), possess great management skills and can lead the group very effectively. This week Griffiths was singled out from the group as he's no longer operating within the rules of the group.

It's pretty obvious Griffiths hasn't been taking the managers, "constructive criticism", at all and that BR has now extended his power into the public domain to illicit a response from the player. FWIW I think BR has marked his card and it's, at best, 50/50 whether Griffiths has a long term future in a BR team.

It's imperative for every Celtic fan to enjoy these times as while it seems unimaginable in this moment, it won't last forever.

I also agree that it's very unfair to use the Deila era as the precipice when you consider our recent history. In 8 seasons between 1989-1997 we won just 1 Scottish Cup and nothing else.

So to those who suffered through the Minty Moonbeams era, I know you're savouring this more than anyone.
I remember being "drunk and very emotional" in my then girlfriends arms after another heartbreaking loss to the deid Huns in the 90s. I will enjoy every last moment of this.

I just don't see the circumstances that will stop us anytime soon.
No man knows the hour or the day. Look at Rangers 1872. Lauding it over the tarriers for basically twelve years and within just four competitive games of MON's arrival we had pumped them so hard they never recovered until eventually circling the drain and dying in 2012.

No matter how good the good times are, you never know what's round the corner. Savour every minute and show some humility when you're on top. I know that's not in their DNA but we can and should always be grateful for every trophy and special moment no matter how small it might seem in the midst of even larger success.

Naw

We tried to punt him on deadline day and he only got on today because the game was over.

He'll be one of the first ones out in the summer.
