He shows the correct amount of contempt for the press whilst at the same time being as polite and erudite as can be.

The manager we've been looking for since Martin O'Neill.
The change on his face at 16 minutes when the SFA/Malky McKay "buy-in from Celtic" loaded question. He just knows they're after a headline. Then he bats them away.

Looks them in the eye every time, and hardly blinks. Love that about him.

if we are still unbeaten after the league is won do you think Rodgers will attempt to go rest of the season unbeaten or will he rest players in a bid to keep them fresh for attempted cl qualification?...bearing in mind that hopefully we may well have a scottish cup final to play in the latter part of may as well

If we win the league unbeaten then I'd guess the next goal would be to go unbeaten for the rest of the season. Brendan might not say it publicly but I bet he wants this run to continue as long as possible, every Celtic fan does and he's no different. :rocker:

100%

There should, all being well, be at least two Scottish Cup games after the league is won. No letting up. He clearly enjoyed the fact that he had etched his name into a little piece of Celtic history today, and I'd expect he wants more.

I forget who it was (sorry!) but someone on here suggested using the Green Glens of Antrim for Brendan.

Come on now think about us old farts.
I think Henry Joy is a good song to use.

An Ulsterman I am proud to be,
From the Antrim Glens I come,
Paradise is where I love to be,
Especially skelpin hun.
I have seen us beat both sheep and minis,
Its where the league flag does fly,
I so look forward to saturday
When I can follow Brendans Bhoys.

Anyone else think not having a senior striker in the squad today and him saying he was disappointed at not making more signings this window was maybe an attempt to twist the boards arm to get a new forward in?

The 2 years under the previous manager are a distant memory now.

Well done Brendan and long may the great work continue :worthy:
