I don't see an issue with the formation, just didn't have the correct players last night.

A few games this season we've been struggling to break a team down Brendan has gone to 3 at the back but we need width and pace to make it work and McGregor and Roberts don't offer that.

In terms of how we play when we have our first 11 we do seem fluent going between 4231/ 433/ 343 which is good, it's not perfect but that's the kinda plans we need in place going forward especially in Europe

Away from formations for a wee bit, here is an article about BR and his involvement with a charity.

BADGE OF HONOUR Lapel badge worn by Celtic boss Brendan Rodgers a symbol of incredible charity work done in memory of his beloved parents
Hospice where Rodgers' mum and dad both passed away reveal the heartbreaking story behind the pin on the Hoops gaffer's lapel

Same formation we played at home to ICT when everyone was fit. It's disjointed and players don't seem to know their roles as well as they do in the usual 4-2-3-1.

Admirable.

Is just one word to describe our manager.

Others would be; focused, intelligent, learned, articulate and also ambitious (for himself and the club).

I think I'm in love again. What a gesture from a great man...as others have stated, we are in for something very special in the coming months and years. How long for is down to BR. I hope and pray it is for the 10 at the very least.

He does ...I know he knew TB for a wee while & Spoke about him when he joined...said along the line of "Tommy made you a better person when you met him...."

This this is evidence of it not taking away BR values and his parents who obv. brought him up.

Just rings a bell that this is the thing TB would be doing...

:potm: :rocker:

Dare I say it, but the transformation of basically the same squad of players he inherited from his predecessor is almost on a level with the effect that Big Jock had on the Lions. Would love him to go some way to matching Jock's second season.

The ridiculous differentials in dosh in Football have probably gubbed any chance of that happening as things stand but there are definite similarities as to transformation in what a real proper Manager can do with an inherited squad albeit Rodgers has added in a few touches of class.

Indeed it is, and another great example of following in the footsteps of previous Celtic managers
