Loved how he insisted the whole squad got up on the podium to celebrate, not just today's 1st team. Got all strict for a second :) Good for team unity. Some man :worthy:
Aye mate. Noticed that  Mrs shouted "oh. He's serious!"
Yes. Yes he is :arrr:

A world class manager, who is getting to live out a dream and taking as all long for the journey. See the emotion in his voice tonight, that is why football is so special. Can be disillusioned at times with how the football world is panning out but Celtic is a special special club.

I was one of the dafties, thank eff I`m daft. I wanted pragmatic after that arse end of a schoolboys dream that was Ronnies last season.

He is simply a class act, the aura of O`neill, the affinity for the club of Burns, the intelligence, grace, workrate and will to better himself and others of a...Brendan Rodgers.

Love that.

I am sure I read that Brendan was previously interviewed for the Celtic job (a few years ago, possibly when Lenny got it) and did not get it. I think we have him now at the right time for us and for him. As hard as missing out on the title with Liverpool will have been for him, he will have learned from that. We are getting him at the time where he has gone off, reflected on that and came back ready to go. We have the more experienced Brendan Rodgers.

There is something about him which brings back memories of MON. The fact he worked with Tommy just makes his being here that bit more special if that makes sense.

I have just watched that video from outside Paradise. Brendan getting all choked up   :ynwa: :huddle:

It's the control he has at the club. He is the man. Don't think anyone since MON has had that same aura.

He is in complete control here. He has the emotional attachment of Lennon or Burns, with the stature of O'Neil.

From the way he deals with the press to watching him cheoreograph the trophy celebrations to get his back room staff and other players involved shows he knows he's in charge.

He's got the players playing for the fans again, and playing for him as a manager and a fan.

His speech on the Celtic way was full of emotion and happiness, I hope we can keep a hold of him for the next few years because we could be onto something special
