Quoting limited to 3 levels deep
I think that's Darlington Nagbe's crime fighting alter ego.
I read an article earlier on Twitter describing him as a playmaker

If not, I'm glad the 'position police' are on hand here to enlighten us of his real place on a football pitch

I've no clue where he plays. I've only heard of him because his first name is ridiculous.

Sounds like we're seriously interested in Darlington Nagbe a USA international midfielder from Portland Timbers. He's in Glasgow right now.
If he scores will they play Darlington County by Bruce? :ponder:

Been typed on here until our fingers fall off but please back this guy with quality and not quantity. If he gets it he will turn us into CL regulars and squeaky bum qualification will be a thing of the past.

When you are ahead of schedule things don't always go as well as you'd like but I think we are in a great place right now and BR will learn a lot from this campaign, it was a bonus this time around but it has given us a fantastic platform from which to progress.

A few in that squad tonight won't be making the cut for next year but they got us there and for the moment I think we need to be happy with that, particularly after things were looking pretty grim last season. Roll on January and next summer, let's spend some of this cash and build a right good side.

We got a lot more from this campaign than I thought, especially after the first game in the group. Support the man and get the players he needs and hopefully we can improve again next year.

Are we getting a transfer thread soon mods or will it break the forum again?

Thought it was a bit strange to play McGregor ahead of Forrest. I think Roberts is better than both but at least Forrest has looked competent at CL level before. Bit of an error IMO.

Big mistake playing McGregor tonight.

Forrest or Roberts would have made much more of the chances on the ball he had.

Think that the reason he played McGregor was to tighten up. McGregor provided more protection and his world are tonight was as good as anyone. I think if Sinclair had stayed on and it had stayed 1-0 we would have seen Sinclair and Forrest on the wings

McGregor has never had the pace to play on the wing, and he was shown up twice tonight for not having enough going forward. He is brainless at times which is awful to see because he really looked promising a few years ago. Forrest was twice the threat when he came on but his incisive cross needed just a little bit more pace.

The last time we played Barca at home Mulgrew missed an absolute sitter IIRC. We really need to have either all the luck or eleven players who are capable of doing their jobs when we play top teams--we still haven't been able to do that. I'm not downbeat but a bit deflated.

I understand why brendan set us up the way we did. mcgregor wasn't even the biggest problem although he wasn't good, more that rogic just doesn't have the pace and engine needed for this level of football.

Think McGregor is one of those players who can always look busy without actually having a positive influence on the game. Plenty energy but not good enough.....Punt

Barcelona are far better than Man City though. Hard to criticise Rodgers tonight. He played the cards he had reasonably well, trying to squeeze the middle and force Barcelona wide, but our weaknesses were cruelly exposed, and most of them are in our midfield.

He tried something to try and nullify Barca as best you can - McGregor and Rogic can't play at the level needed to get any success with that plan.

Hope to feck PL could see where the problems are and allows Rodgers to rectify matters asap.

Really need to get the squad down and just punt or release loads of the dross.

Let Brendan get in the handful of quality players we need to make us far better. I'm convinced he knows exactly what we need.

Ambrose, Boyata, Commons, Ciftci, GMS, Bailly, Allan and Janko spring to mind. Just release the lot to anyone who'll take them. :boik:
