As if we need further evidence of how much the SMSM and general press tell blatant lies...here it is. Quite clearly & categorically BR did not say that at what is said/printed on the headline. Taken for the talksport interview yesterday morning.

Simply put the headline was never uttered. Made uo garbage.

Does this not count?

"Asked about the striker's comments, Rodgers told talkSPORT: "He was probably absolutely spot on."

NB, I haven't read the Balotelli interview or heard Rodgers' interview. Just going by what I see here.

He agreed with it.

What do you want the headline to say, 'Balotelli said I was his worst coach and he was probably spot on'?

Balotelli said his time with BR was a disaster....BR agreed.

Nothing said about him being his worst coach and BR agreeing.

Two different points.

Would we ever take a punt on Robbie Keane for 6 months as back up? For the people who were harking on about Gerrard providing 'experience' to the dressing room, would Keane? Would prefer that over Cifcti at back up if the wages were right.

He's out of contract. If Dembele or Griffiths ever get hurt we are light on depth. Just a random thought. Would make more sense than people wanting us to sign Gerrard.

We need to look to the future. Players who will be here for the UCL qualifiers next summer.

Besides, assuming we don't have European football after christmas, we certainly don't need to spend big on a short term basis (on wages in Keane's case) for domestic glory.

Dembele is unhurtable and Sinclair would probably play up front, Efe could play up front and we would still win this league.

Probably. I would consider it if we made the Europa League though, which seems unlikely.
