I knew we were beating Barcelona that time before the 2-1.

Said for weeks that we were going to win that particular match.

10 mins before kick off my first big love, who I always still hoped we would get back together one day
Called up and told me she was getting married.

Knew there and then that I was going to be right about the Barca game.

One of life's moments when it kicks you in the balls and then hands you an ice cream.

Shouldn't it have been 3:30 for Wee Bertie.

1 more hour and it rhymes better.

After watching the Oasis documentary 'Supersonic' - highly recommended - the lyrics....
" There we were, now here we are " got me thinking back to the not so glorious Tony Mowbray days , so I checked out the ever excellent CelticWiki

There we were, now here we are indeed. Massive credit to Lenny for the shot in the arm after those very very dark days - Ronny was a nice guy but just not good enough however Brendan Rodgers has got us on and off the pitch in a place we have not been since vintage MON days, best thing is is that it's only just begun

I remember at the start of the season BR gave every player a break down on Scottish referrees.

It detailed what they are likely to give cards for / penalise players for. Average cards a game and other stuff.

BR said it was not homework and if the players did not read it, they did not read it.
He saw the ref as part of the game. Not just focussing on the opposition but the ref as well (same thing?).

To me it looks like the players have read it. There seems to be a good relationshipbwith the refs. When things don't go our way the players don't crowd the ref. A few players may vent their spleen but not fully at the ref.

I think we must be the a shoe in for the fair play award.
Quite a few of our bookings have been for celebrations and not fouls.

Maybe we can call him 3.30 when the clocks go forward in the Spring?

Heard them in the summer...why would they resurface now? :ponder:

EDIT: I see he's leaving the MLS. Surely Klopp will give him a contract in his backroom?
